So do we put to rest the idea of this film coming out in 2015 yet? Seeing as how the star wars sequel has already had a director announced for 2015 (at the earliest) and i don't believe there are any similar announcements planned for JL anytime soon?

I thought I heard WB was pursuing Snyder now with a "juicy deal" to direct JL. They see their timetable thinning I suppose :/ But in the end, it may be better for a more cohesive movie universe.

Snyder to JL is the perfect parallel to JJ and Star Wars.While the most obvious choice,nonetheless a excellent choice.Cause you know a Snyder Batman,Green Lantern,Flash,WW,and Darkseid would kick ass.All that with amazing visuals is a win win,I hope he ends up getting it.The guy was born to direct superhero films.

No, we don't. Just because we don't know what's happening does not mean that WB isn't moving forward.

One thing I dont want the JL movie to do is showcase aspects of the heroes individual mythos. This is so tht when the time comes for the solos,the filmmakers have free reign to potray this aspects whatever way they please.

For Example-Should the Jl movie show us Central city,it means the Flash movie must potray central city the same way as in the JL movie.That doesnt give the director of the franchise leeway to bring his unique vison to the franchise and that is a loss. What wld the Batmn film series have turned out like if Nolan was restricted from bringing his vision to the films?I want the directors of the solo movie

If the rumour about the movie taking place on another planet is true then ,avoiding the problem above shld be quite easy. Itd wld howver require them to start the movie with the heroes on the other planet or journeying to the planet-use a Prologue to explain the situation.

Zack Snyder should really do Justice League, I just rewatched Watchmen and 300 recently, and if anyone is going to faithfully adapt the DC characters we know and love, its him. I believe in Zack Snyder.

Forgot about Cuaron there for a second. I think Zack Snyder would be more faithful to the comics than Cuaron, but Cuaron would be a top choice if it were up to me. Those two would be my top choices for sure

Remember, Joss Whedon was not officially announced as the director of Avengers until Comic-Con 2010...just two years prior to the movie coming out. So it's not impossible. If Zack Snyder is going to direct JL (which is looking more and more likely) then expect the news to be leaked unofficially sometime soon, with an official announcement sometime at Comic Con in the summer.

It say there will be a sneek peak of the Justice League movie as a bonus feature on the Superman Unbound DVD...I don't what that means. Is there another JL animation movie in the works or is it some concept stuff for the actual JL movie? It's from Cosmicbook news but there's a pic of the back of the box art and it says sneek peak at DC universe's Justice League Movie.??

They're doing an animated Flashpoint movie and calling it Justice League: Flashpoint.

I'd rather wait and see how Snyder does with MOS before giving him my full support. But I like what I'm seeing so far, so if he were announced as director tomorrow, I wouldn't be up in arms.

Im not the biggest fan of his movies, but Snyder surely knows how to make a kick-ass comic book/superhero movie. Man Of Steel is going to be incredible i just know it. And if he directed Justice League, i would look at it like a less violent Watchmen. It doesn't need to get all deep or super political, it just needs to kick major ass and not be tailor made for children. Leave the deep stuff for the JL solo movies.

The only reason MOS looks good is because of Nolan and Goyers influences. Leaving Snyder to his own devices on a Justice League movie would be catastrophic. Have you not seen the atrocity that is sucker punch?
