By Neptune's Trident, how Outrageous! the Aquaman thread - Page 40

I went to C2E2 a couple of years back and met Chris Hemsworth (guy who plays Thor).

During a press event I was allowed to ask a question. I asked what other superhero (besides Thor) he would like to play if he had the chance. He answered honestly that he didn't know. I honestly asked if he would play Aquaman.....

I got royally booed by the crowd! And a punk kid behind me start yelling about how Aquaman was a stupid character.

A few months later Geoff Johns announced that he was going to write an Aquaman comic, and the rest is history.

Justice is served. Now make an epic Aquaman movie!

Nope.....just marveling at our new standard lows. I shouldn't expect a professional writer to know the difference between a possessive pronoun and a contraction.

Of course he knows the difference, because he's not 6. Knowing the definition of a word doesn't automatically mean you'll never make a typo.

But that's beside the point, since Geoff Johns isn't the letterer.

It was about a lettering error in Aquaman and the resulting overreaction. But if you'd like to discuss the narrative, feel free to say something about it.

Anywho I can't wait to see the conclusion to Throne of Atlantis. I did not see that twist coming and I'm wondering how its going to end.

No doubt though there will be changes to the roster once this is over.

I don't know, we know that this is one of the first steps towards Trinity War. And we know that the Justice League will be getting new members cause one of the teasers shows SHAZAM! joining and then fighting Superman (go SHAZAM! by the way).

But no doubt it'll affect what happens in Aquaman.

What's the twist? I bought the first two issues of Throne of Atlantis and I can't get into it. I've read all the previous Aquaman New 52 books but this arc hasn't kept my attention. I was wondering if it was time to jump off. Now your post has me intrigued.

we find out that his mentor from Atlantis (i can't remember his name) has the 8th relic (the sceptre) and instigated this whole war as his revenge for being exiled from Atlantis because Aquaman left.
