If we got both in the Deluxe set...I'd probably be just as pumped to buy it as I am for any theatrical release this year, lol
Even if not though, it took 10 years for the first DC of Blade Runner and ultimately 25 for the Ridley Scott's Final Cut (not that it would be as drastically different in this case). I'm keeping expectations in check, but you never know for sure. |

![]() This is the same guy who fell over right? Is he clutching himself where he got shot?

I don't think its the same guy. After he falls , Batman still kicks 2 (maybe 3) other guys. I suppose its one of them. It's hard to understand the continuity between those 3 shots (him ending the fight , blake saying the line , and that kick). There's probably a few shots in that scene that got left out.

Finally got a chance to re-watch the scene.
The guy falls over on his own, and then after that, Batman grabs -another- guy from the right, not the one from the left who he kicked in the arm, directs -that- guy's gun at the guy who fell over on his own, and shoots. VIDEO-CLick to Watch!:
Skip a couple of minutes in.

![]() Why do they stand there pointing guns at him, not firing, wait their turn to run up and be clobbered comically... The way he swings the final kick and the silly swag walk he does up to Blake afterward just ice that cake. Needed the 'docks' treatment, really. At least some smoke or shurikens.

I know when I'm scared, I make the biggest, slowest arc possible with my arm to aim my gun at the guy I'm trying to shoot, giving him all the time he could ever need to destroy me.

One place in TDKR that I find complaints about and I don't understand is when Batman kicks Bane into City Hall and someone just runs with his gun to hit Batman, but that would make sense as Talia wouldn't want Batman to have been shot anyways; I see it as an order from Talia to NOT shoot Batman in that moment.

I kinda figure the overall order was not to kill Batman because ultimately, Talia wanted him to "feel the fire". The preferred way for Batman to die was along with the rest of Gotham.
I mean, Bane and Talia both had several opportunities to kill Bruce in the movie but they intentionally didn't. It'd actually be kind of backwards if they didn't inform all their men that he wasn't to be killed, seeing as that would interfere with their "torment Bruce Wayne's soul for as long as possible" agenda lol. |

That was more or less because Bane was sincerely pissed that Bruce showed how he was a better man who climbed out of the Pit and royally destroyed Bane before Talia interfered. Not obeying Talia al Ghul's order and just decides to shoot Bane...yah, Bane was just pissed the **** off at that moment, lol.
"You'll just have to imagine the fire!" But I still believe it was only that moment in the City Hall that Talia didn't want anyone to shoot Bruce...all other times people did still try to shoot him.

Nicely done. I hadn't connected those three scenes with Batman glaring overthe villains like that before.

That turn from Bale is so glorious. He just looks so badass there. Totally vindicates having the cowl as a separate piece.

Foley is such an ass in that scene, lol. Letting Bane just pass right on by.
