Dane Dehaan will make a fine Harry Osborn. He was decent in Chronicle, but are the rumors true of Harry being Green Goblin? Norman should clearly be GG first.

In all honesty I would play that part for free. That doesn't mean I'd turn down the money though.

To look good? The majority of film actors work out for their role, even if it isn't a physical role. It just looks better on screen. Same reason male actors wear make-up--it's for appearances.

Harry isn't super big but he also isn't scrawny either. I like that he is working out to get the physique of the character down right. Plus, Harry might really have a physical role in the film.

DeHaan isn't a big guy to begin with either so its not like he's going from huge to ultra huge. He'll probably have the same physique as Garfield

Alot of rumors are going around that they might go with that terrible usm route and make Harry venom. Hope this isn't discussed but that bothers me.

Not going to happen, simply not enough time with only two movies and all the characters including Electro (perhaps a secondary villain) in the sequel and Green Goblin possibly in the third to do Venom. Hell, I don't even want to see Harry as the second Green Goblin. One Green Goblin is enough for this trilogy.
