Well obviously Warner/DC wants in on the tons of cash 'The Avengers' made.

But to be fair, WB have been trying to get a Justice League movie off the ground since 2007 with George Miller.

^ Pretty much this.

Yes, The Avengers convinced them to give it another go, but then again, every studio is now trying to create their own movieverses, and I don't see anyone giving 'em hell for it.

Who else is doing it now apart from Marvel/Disney, Fox and WB?

Rumour has it that Sony wants in on the action with Disney/Marvel.

In fact they even almost had the 'Oscorp' building from 'The Amazing Spider-Man' in 'The Avengers' as part of the skyline, but didn't have time to do it according to Kevin Feige.

Wasn't there something about Marc Webb mapping out a big Spidey-verse? I'd think the Venom movie would be a part of that.

Doubt it. Webb is probably gone after the third movie and i can't see Venom kicking off til later. Im sure they'll try to squeeze Spidey into Marvels universe once Webb leaves.

Isn't Hulk supposed to be a main villain or something in the 3rd Avengers? I can see the team using Spider-Man as the new member.

It might not happen, but I think it was in the works at some point.

And it might get taken up later by some other showrunner.

Is the multiverse out of the question? If green lantern is canon then krona could've created the anti monitor too, and it could set up for something in JL sequels.

Anti-Monitor would be a good choice for a sequel since they're already blowing their wad with Darkseid.

Webb said to "think bigger", whatever that means. What's bigger than the Spidey-verse? The entire damn MCU.

Lmao, but what if by "think bigger", all Webb meant was merging the worlds of Ghost Rider and Spidey(both owned by Sony)? Personally, I'd be disappointed.

That would be pretty dismal.

I expect Sony and Marvel have worked something out in the long run, though. They've already admitted to the OSCORP/MCU skyline thing.

Exactly. I can't see them backtracking and not including Spidey in the MCU after putting some info like what they planned to do out there. Before, I never thought something like this would happen. Now, I'm expecting it. Funny how things can change in a few years.

WB quit making a JL movie because they cldnt see didnt know how to make it work. They only ressurected it because they want avengers cash nnot because they have figured out how to make Jl work.I hope they do,I relly hope they do.

lol just the thought of a Ghost Rider/Spidey movie makes me laugh XD That would be a bigger disaster than Hulk, Superman Returns, or Green Lantern. Their characters just don't gel unless you happen to throw them on a team togeter in Marvel Ultimate Alliance. But even then..

I see the MCU merge happening but Marvel will probably throw in all of these conditions that will essentially make Spiderman their character again. And I don't think Sony will go for that. Regardless of how well they're doing with the character, they will always fight to keep the rights.

One thing fans need to learn is that people learn is that people involved in filmmaking lie and not just for spiolers but to prevent bad publicity. Its bad publicity to confirm that WB is only doing JL because of Avengers not because they had a plan before hand-and by saying that he just started the script thats what hed be doing.

It kind of reminds me of the Micheal Bay/Ninja turtles script leak.Bay denied that the script saying it was an old draft but it was quickly reveled that it was quite recent.

People lie and im not forcing anything to say so.

However whtwevr Wbs reasons for pushing a Jl,they do have enough time to plan it out properly before 2015.So far nothing ive heard fills me with hope.

But him being hired in 2011 wasn't something Beall revealed. It was in Variety's scoop about him writing it.

And Justice League: Mortal fell apart because of money and the writer's strike. They knew exactly how the movie would be handled. Whether you think what they planned is good or not aside, save rewrites that every movie goes through, they had the Justice League that George Miller wanted mapped out.
