Default Animaniacs Becomes a Part of The Hub in December

http://www.nickandmore.com/2012/11/2...this-december/

Quote:
After airing the Animaniacs “Wakko’s Wish” movie this month, The Hub will begin airing the TV series starting in December.

As the perfect Christmas gift, Animaniacs will join The Hub on Monday, December 24 with a marathon from 4-8 p.m. (ET).

Here’s some of the episodes airing, via The Hub press release:

“Twas the Day Before Christmas; Jingle Boo; The Holiday Concert” (4-4:30 p.m.) – Slappy Squirrel reads a classic Christmas poem in “Twas the Day Before Christmas.” Chicken Boo dresses up as Santa Claus in “Jingle Boo.” Wakko performs “The Great Wakkorotti: The Holiday Concert,” and the Warners make mischief in “Toy Shop Terror.”
“A Christmas Plotz; Little Drummer Warners” (4:30-5 p.m.) – On Christmas Eve, the Warner siblings subject Warner Bros. chief, Thaddeus Plotz, to a Dickensian nightmare in “A Christmas Plotz.” Later, the three Warners star in “Little Drummer Warners,” a musical version of the nativity.
“My Mother the Squirrel; Oh Say Can You See; 12 Days of Christmas” (5:30-6 p.m.) – In “My Mother the Squirrel,” the Bluebird thinks Slappy is his mother. The Flame helps Francis Scott Key write our nation’s anthem in “Oh! Say Can You See,” and the Bluebird returns to sing his version of a holiday song in “The Twelve Days of Christmas.”
“Cutied and the Beast; Boo Happens; Noel” (6:30-7 p.m.) – The Tazmanian Devil plays the Beast and Dot is Cutie in “Cutie and the Beast.” In “Boo Happens,” Chicken Boo relives the life of “Forrest Gump.” Then, the Warners have fun with puns in a musical number sung to the tune of classic Christmas carol, “Noel.”
“The Christmas Tree; Chicken Part 1; Prom Night; Chicken Part 2” (7:30-8 p.m.) – Slappy Squirrel awakens to find her house is now “The Christmas Tree” at “Rockyfellow” Center, Katie Ka-Boom tries to negotiate a mutually acceptable curfew for “Prom Night” with her dad, and the entire cast appears on the TV news program “Punchline.”
Animaniacs comes from Warner Bros. Television, which already distributes several other series on The Hub, such as Batman: The Animated Series, Superman: The Animated Series and Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman.

Sweet! I'll definitely be tuning in for this.

Now if only the Hub could air reruns of Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog and The Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3...

Rewatching the series again on The Hub I'm now remembering how boring and unnecessary the characters of the singing cat Rita and the two fat Hippos were.

Pinky & The Brain were the highlight of that show. so much so, that they got their own show after.

i also liked the "Good Idea, Bad Idea" segments

I did miss this show, it would be great if it aired several times a day, like at 12 noon or 4pm, because I am not watching that channel when it actually airs are 7 and 10 (11?). But I agree, some characters were pointless. The hippos, the Mink woman, who as far as I can remember was all about her getting ready for a bath or a nighty (in a silhouette).
I also want them to bring back Tiny Toon Adventures.

I always like Chicken Boo and The Good Feathers. Pinky and the Brain was dope too. To this day, whenever somebody asks " What are we going to do tonite ?" I reply " The same thing we do every night, try to take over the world !"

I loved Animaniacs mainly for the secondary toons like Pinky & The Brain and Chicken Boo. Wacko, Yacko and Dot were annoyingly unlikable, but I would ignore them to get to the good stuff. All of the shows that Spielberg produced when he was with WB Animation were great: Tazmania, Freakazoid, Tiny Toons, etc.
