It kind of reminds me of the Micheal Bay/Ninja turtles script leak.Bay denied that the script saying it was an old draft but it was quickly reveled that it was quite recent.

People lie and im not forcing anything to say so.

However whtwevr Wbs reasons for pushing a Jl,they do have enough time to plan it out properly before 2015.So far nothing ive heard fills me with hope.
Do you think you're telling me something I didn't know? I know filmmakers lie, but to lie about when you began a script makes no sense. The ninjas title script leak is a different situation because of the things Bay was planning to do with the turtles. Also, Bay lied about transformers 3 being his last, no surprise there. Again, you're forcing it.

And don't forget Nolan's Batman, that wa also one of the reasons

Whoever said they didn't know how to make it work was wrong, reasons above are why

Didn't even know about Variety being the one to report it. Even better.

Time to step in, Goyer! I wonder if that changes the villain too.

They're probably going back to the Mulroneys' script, if Snyder is indeed getting the JL gig.

At this point, drop JL and just focus on a Man of Steel trilogy and a Wonder Woman trilogy. Amongst those, do a team up movie with Supes, Wonder Woman, and Bats. Call it a day.

Which script did Mulroney write?

It was convoluted but pretty entertaining from the lengthy synopsis I read

JUSTICE LEAGUE May Be Looking For New Writers

There's one thing I believe with certainty: Warner Bros has no idea how to approach the Justice League movie.

I've now heard from multiple sources that the Will Beall script for Justice League has been scrapped. The story from each source is the same: it's terrible. Some sources seem to think the whole movie is going to fall apart and never happen, while some believe that Warner Bros will keep moving forward, unwilling to lose the superhero arms race.

Beall's script supposedly includes Darkseid and a heavy cosmic threat. But the script has been half-baked from the beginning, with reports saying that heroes (beyond the core five of Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, The Flash and Green Lantern) have been cut and added from the proceedings seemingly at studio executive will. The latest word was that Warner Bros, experiencing real cold feet, had decided to wait until The Man of Steel to really move forward, but it's possible that moving forward now will mean a whole new script.

Meanwhile the studio has been unable to get the interest of a quality director, reportedly because of the script. Without a script and without a director, Justice League seems unlikely to meet a 2015 release. The question is will it ever be released at all?

WB getting cold feet isn't anything new, and I really doubt JL will be out in 2015, even if MOS did better than expected.

Oh, good, everyone's panicking and making assumptions over vague statements about a project's quality again.

Huzzah!

People, the time to panic/judge a project is when the final product comes out and is bad. Not when you hear some vague rumor about why a script has been abandoned, or rewrites being done, or new writers, etc. This stuff happens all the time on major action films, including the X-Men movies, the Iron Man movies, the Spider-Man movies, the Superman movies, and pretty much every other heroic adaption out there in some fashion.

I must say, it's darned convenient that the Will Beal script apparently gets dropped shortly before/after the release of the underperforming GANGSTER SQUAD...

Nolan and goyer writing, Snyder directing. Then goyer/Nolan should godfather the solo movies as consultants or even writers. That's what they should do

I'm not sure I would be clamoring for Goyer either.

I dont understand why people want to link Nolan to the Justice League. It's not really his type of film, unless they give him full permission to do his own version of it...other than that, he would just be name in credit only style.
