Also, I like how AIM has chosen John Deere green for their liveries. I'll also point out that the yellow and green are classic HYDRA colors from the comics...

Too bad there's no beekeeper-helmet AIM troops in any of these sets....

Yes, sometimes Lego creates props for a certain sets because the scene doesn't have any in the film.

I find it really hard to believe that they would actually kill off Pepper. I don't think this film would be that dark.

I don't think that Pepper is going to die in that scene, I just assume tht Tony tells the armor to protect her over himself and once Jarvis is online in the suit it goes and saves him. But I too have always figured it was Pepper in the suit falling into the ocean since Tony would be able to get out of that situation pretty easily

Also Sam, you have to think about the other scenes in the film that they've shown her to be in, she picks up a broken helmet, is seen with Guy Perice's character and in that Jigsaw looking trap.. I'm guessing the mansion blow up scene is early on in the movie before at least 1 or 2 of those parts happen.

I guess it really depends if this scene is pre or post extremis right? You're making me lean toward your story though haha. But just cause it's a nod towards "rescue" doesnt mean she has to go get in the armor herself, I figured it was more like her just being in a suit of armor would be the nod itself.

a) I don't think the broken Batmask --- I mean IM mask --- is from the mansion scene. Right now, I think the Chinese Theater attack is more likely.

a) lol, I'm also curious to when the Theater scene takes place.. maybe Tony's first act of heroism in the film?

Actually, rethinking the Batmask -- dammit, IRON mask -- scene again. IIRC, there *is* one trailer that shows her picking the mask up, and it's definitely at the mansion....but the mansion is still intact.

So. There's actually TWO "attacks" at the mansion. Early on, you get the scene where all Tony's six or seven main go-to armors blow up by themselves....but that's not the helicopter assault. It's Mandarin sabotaging Tony's workshop, maybe --- or maybe it's Tony himself who destroys them, to replace them with his "new 'n' improved" armor. Pepper picks up the cracked mask afterward, stares bemusedly at it, figures Tony's gone a little loopy. Then, cue the "Ride of the Valkyries" music, and in comes Mandarin's choppers for the worst (or best) possible timing.

The shot I saw was not like a kiss on the lips. It was more like Killian giving her a consoling or greeting kiss on the cheek.
