Yeah man, you're not kidding. Not to mention the 20 long-boxes of comics I have in my bedroom. I buy about 25 of those a week too, and they add up fast. I am going to end up on Collection Intervention pretty soon. I am moving this summer, and I'm hoping to get a place with either an extra bedroom, or a finished basement.. That way I can have my dork room, with everything displayed properly, and still have a living room that isn't overrun. That'll be soooo sweet.

I mean, you COULD keep them MOC but you'd have to have them pinned up on all your walls. You've got so many, that's the only way it would work. You have too many to have 2 or 3 boxed figures on each bookshelf. Figures actually wallpapering your room might look cool, actually.

"Dork Room" HA! That's great!

Edit: After looking at your pics again, Rob, why all three scales? Selects, legends, and universe? That's crazy, dude. I think you should sell all your universe, pin up your legends and keep your selects on the shelves.

Funny you should mention that cuz I have been putting a lot of thought into selling off my MU collection. I did just sell my solid Vision for $175. !!! Of course, I picked up a few Transformers as mentioned in the other thread and now I'm developing a little addiction to those too.
As Chief Brody might say "We're going to need a bigger house."

Wow! Nice score on Vision! That's a lotta loot for a universe figure. And here's something else you're gonna have to start thinking about....streamline.

I was afraid of that. My LCS has him for 17 bucks and I'm tempted. That stupid ML red and blue spikey jumpsuit is just getting on my nerves. He looks dumber everytime I look at it.

You don't like the series 5 version? I got him recently, he looks pretty nice. I have the face-off one too, but I like the series 5 more.

It is too bad they didn't do a six inch of the Select version. He is the nicest looking Red Skull, IMHO.

Sadly, I missed him. I should track him down. I got the face off set at retail and until recently I've always been satisfied with it, but I don't know, lately, it just looks lame.

I passed on Daken. I never had any desire to buy him, plus I never saw him at retail so that makes it easy. I figure brown Wolvie can easily sub for him. And I didn't like the Gargan Venom with the scorpion tail. And I've got 2 other Venoms I really like already, so...

Looking forward to your updates, buddy. Did your BF allow you to display them, or did you send him packing?

maskless daken is easily one of the best new figs they've made... he's a must for completing the Dark Avengers imo.. brown wolvie is a decent sub but will never be complete since Daken's claws are different and has a tattoo. the maskless one is a fantastic sculpt, and with Moonstone coming (hopefully a ms marvel variant as well) the Dark Avengers will be complete

as for gargan venom, yeah the tail is a big no no.. but I ripped the head off of that one and attached it to the other gargan venom (the blue washed one with the proper gargan spider emblem) and it made the perfect gargan venom (his neck is a little elongated, but he's a symbiote.. so it's passable).

and my bf was always going to let me do what i want with the office.. though we finally got a shelf up (right now it's random figures till i bring my spidey ones over), then we need another few large shelves from ikea and i should be set. He just wants me to eventually not fill up his bookcases (though will allow me to put them on top)

Yeah, I'm happy with her. They've come a long way with their female female figures.
You should check out the new Captain America series by Remender/Romita Jr. Zola is the primary villain, and it takes Cap way out of his element and makes for an interesting read. They are on issue 4 now, so the trade will be out in a few months.

Isn't Cap in a different universe or alternate timeline or something? Is it the same 616 Zola? Ah, we'll see. If I don't really like a character or know much about them, they ain't getting a spot on my shelf.
