And yes when TPM trailer came out I was thinking those destroyer droids were going to be intimidating. Also the ones in the later films that shoot from their fist (what are they called?).

They were called B2 super battle droids. What a couple of stooges they were.

Yes! That's all I care about. Sure, have R2 and C3PO, but I want to see some actual combat with some droids. And I don't mean retarded battle droids. I want hand-to-hand combat with a droid and a Jedi. Imagine if the fight between Obi-Wan and Jango Fett was with IG-88 instead. How crazy would that be?

I don't really hate the idea, I hated the execution.

They were cannon fodder at best, and comic relief most of the time. Storm Trooper cut outs are more intimidating.

The Droidekas should return out of all the other battle droid models. I think some of the Empire kept a few of them cause they provided such good security. As you can tell by the Storm Troopers using one in combat.

Droidekas look meh...ok they got to make them look more like bugs though.

I wouldn't mind seeing General Grievous bodyguard type droids.

Thanks. I thought they might be cool (like I thought the droidekas were going to be cool) when they appeared in AOTC. The stupid voices of the 2 at the beginning of ROTS really ruined any possibility of that though.

Why would robots be dumb? Granted, I know it's a joke, but in the movies, the battle droids are shown to be rather dumb. For comic effect.

If anything they should be quicker and more dangerous than humans and aliens.
