It was on the blacklist and Tatum picked it up. Unsure when he'll get around to making it though or if it's been shelved. It also had Hook as a hero and told his origin story. It was interesting.

This new trailer felt quite different at the beginning from what we've seen so far. I like everybody involved with the movie but the trailers are not selling me.

Yes it has a good cast but I haven't even slightly liked any of the trailers or T.V spots. You'd think the studio could cut a better trailer...oh well none of the fantasy movie trailers have really grabbed me.

eh...the giants look horrible...they like like they belong in Shrek. So poorly done. :/

There's no 100% good giants in any movie yet. I'd say they're up to par with giants in every single movie. And if someone brings up troll hunter - most of those scenes are in the dark and very fast glimpses. However, when we see one in a lighter atmosphere in that film they looked they were created by the Jim Henson company - like giant muppets. So, I really don't see what the hate is over giants since no movie has yet to crack making it look photo-realistic. Now 'Troll Hunter' was a good movie, but I never understood the hype about it looking so real since whenever we saw them in close-ups or in the light it seemed like the muppets which took me out of it at those moments.

I might be wrong, but thinking you mean the Gods. If so, remember that they are hardly in the same single frame together. So it's more of a forced perspective kind of angle and the closest we ever saw to giant man interacting with small human were the couple of - yet very few shots of - Percy and Poseidon in the same frame together. I'm also pretty sure there are some limitations as to how far they can go with that - say with action sequences for example and full-on interaction.
