We already know a lot of film takes place In 1973.It's more likely for trilogy cast back In 1973 instead of first Class cast In future.

Yep.If he hasn't read script he wouldn't know.Seems like Bryan only told him what he has plans for Iceman.

Neverless we have to consider the possibilty of Xavier,Magneto,wolverine and possibilty others(Like Kitty) all traveling back to 1973.

Yeah, all he said was that Patrick, Ian and Hugh interact with the cast. He never said it was the FC cast.

Obviously the First Class cast is incredible, and having Ian Mckellen and Patrick Stewart and Hugh Jackman interact with other cast members is going to be really exciting.

I don't know how could they bring back the whole cast of the original trilogy in 1973, but its definitely interesting.

He doesn't say that Patrick, Ian and Hugh interact with the FC cast, so that comment is not exactly a confirmation. But if they only interact with the rest of the old cast it's IMO a tad strange that he would make a mention of it, I mean, that would pretty much be a given. That would also tie in with Hugh Jackman's comment from a while ago about interacting with the FC cast for longer this time around.

The fact that Singer mentioned "perceptions" as one of the things that make time travel possible in DoFP to me does hint on some kind of mental ability. Although, who the hell knows.

Why oh why would you like that? That would just be overwriting James McAvoy's Xavier with Patrick Stewart's more serious version. How would they show it? By having Patrick Stewart's voice coming out of McAvoy's mouth? No, no, no. Bad idea!

It would be cool to have him have a blend of conciousness. Remember Xavier can already transfer his mind to another body (end of X3)... If young Xavier gets his future memories via the new big round Cerebro, it could trigger his hair loss.

Maybe there will be multiple attempts to change the future and people will have to be sent bck too

DOFP takes place 11 years later so Xavier would have matured a bit.They would do It like comic with James Mcavoy has some kind of attck and when he comes out of It It's James Mcavoy with patrick Stewert's Mind In his body.If that Is how they are doing time travel.

It still pisses me off that in X3 his entrance into the final battle was Kitty jumping him to the ground and not an ice-slide!

I think the fans are expecting to see Iceman finally do the ice-slide so they better do it in the movie or else, people might be disappointed with Iceman.

I also hope we see the ice spikes! I just loved it when I saw him do that in cartoons and videogames.

Given by their situation, like if the future is really chaotic and the Sentinels are chasing them. I don't think we need to see the funny side of Iceman.

Actually, in most of the dystopian storylines from the comics Iceman is often portrayed as the one that still makes jokes. Only now, the jokes have become twisted and morbid and often inappropriately timed. This would be a chance to give Bobby some personality... something Shawn hasn't been able to show so far.

Storm made jokes in X3... I don't really remember.

In any case, it's all up to the writers. If they are not up to the challenge then they're not good writers and we'll just get bland Bobby again. I know he's just a supporting character, but he is also NOTHING like his comic counterpart besides the powers. They even gave him a little southern accent in the first movie with his "mutant high" line.
