To me...it was science fiction....things happen.

In the STAR TREK universe, you can go back in time by slingshotting around the sun....in the STARGATE SG-1 universe, you can travel back in time if the wormhole goes too close to a star when it has a massive solar flare.

you know we really have gotten alot of stuff early for this movie ...look at wolverine it comes out this summer and they haven't even released a teaser yet!

MAN OF STEEL would likely get a trilogy if its a massive success as a franchise anyway, regardless of WB's plans for JUSTICE LEAGUE.

I agree. If the first movie is a hit the WB will move ahead with a sequel to Man of Steel regardless of the plans for Justice League and how well it does IF it manages to see the light of day. If Justice League is a disappointment I don't think that will have any effect on what happens to the Man of Steel franchise.

I'm not saying movies have to make sense.

If flying fast to go back in time doesn't make sense, then he might as well have spun the world back. It equally makes no sense and that's what it looked like anyway.

I think it will, Monsters Inc is a very popular film. Now people can say its not gonna perform but we just don't know.

Still I think if MOS performs well first weekend and people/reviewers love it then I'm sure it will hold its box office.

I'd be surprised if it does knock MOS off the top spot. I don't think there is much hype for it at all. But I suppose it depends on the marketing nearer to the time.
