....Rhodey isn't wearing Iron Patriot or War Machine.

He's wearing the Iron Man suit.

47 Iron Man armors. Not one of them has War Machine-type weaponry? Go figure, huh...?

So Marvel's going to make a big deal out of hiding everything except Rhodey's eyes and a shoulder-mount.....and then BIG REVEAL: ....yeah, the same old Iron Patriot and War Machine armors we've already seen a thousand times in the trailers and set pics and action figures. Is that supposed to be the new strategy, then, for IM3 --- build up hype for "reveals" of stuff everybody has already seen countless times before? Okay.

Sure: I'm wrong. But if I'm right, I called it here first, "scooper" wannabes.

pretty sure people just got confused when reporting with item 47.. all the official stuff from hasbro says 42

it would be cool to see him in a different armor, but I doubt it. Also I'd love for this to be a really good look at the WM armor, not the IP one. if it's IP i'll be a little bummed.

Also though if he's in the armor, where is any part around his head? I thought only the faceplates retract not the entire helmet.

I was scouring the Interwebs for any pics of Cheadle in War Machine armor, and can't find any; so I'm guessing that's their "big reveal" in the poster. Yeah, most of us in who've been following it closely already know that he'll don (pun!) both the Iron Patriot *and* War Machine armors, but I guess it'll come as a surprise to some folks who just assumed he would wear IP only.

The helmet does come off (remember when Tony put it on in Avengers?) but they're most likely doing it for the sake of showing off their actors, same as what they did with the Stark poster.

I'm no fan of the War Machine character, but it makes perfect sense to give him a poster. He's the #2 guy in the film. We'll probably also get one for Mandarin.

Mandarin should or needs to be the #2 guy in the film, then Pepper and then Rhodey.

Can anyone imagine future Batman movies where characters like Gordon or Robin are marketed over the Joker??

Mandarin is Iron Man's greatest villain, he needs to be in every poster and right behind Iron Man in the marketing.

I hope they don't make the same mistake as they did in part 2 and give tge villain little screen time in favor of War Machine and this nonsense of Pepper/Rescue.

They do a series of character posters for a lot of flicks like this. Thor had 'em.
