I think having two different actresses playing Mystique will be difficult to ignore since she's not supposed to age a lot. Fassbender aging into McKellan is a little easier to imagine, but I'm already having issues in my head between McAvoy and Stewart...

I mean there is heavy make-up on Mystique, but it'll still be weird.

How is it hard for you to imagine a shape-shifter looking different? I think it's probably the easiest to accept!

I don't think Rebecca Romijn should return. Magneto already abandoned her when she lost her powers and I don't see them working together again even if Magneto also lost his powers. Plus the younger version of Mystique is already in the movie.

Actully I think Mystique Is more likely than Storm. That way you have 3 characters In
both timeframes.

Mystique was not even a major character in the original trilogy and she wasn't even a X-Men. She was the only villain that was with Magneto for X1, X2 and X3 but they already parted ways in X3. I don't see how much role she's going to have in the movie. Even if her powers are back, she can't really use her powers to defeat a Sentinel.

At least with Storm, they can use her as the leader of the X-Men and use her powers to defeat the Sentinels. If Bryan Singer doesn't bring Storm back, it will just prove that he doesn't know what to do with Storm.

Love this comment. Its such a beautiful concept. If Bryan give us a few scenes/moments here and there adressing this, this sequel will even even more special than it was going to be on first place

Eh I hope not.

Its probably Puck or a character that might need CGI like Sugar Man and Doop.

kind of offtopic, but to the FC cast fans:

Quote:
“I got the impression that everyone was kind of excited to come back. The actors from X-Men: First Class are contracted to, but the ones I’ve spoken to are very enthusiastic.
this doesnt mean all of them will be back, but we can be sure the four leads wont be the only ones, right?

Yes and its not a requirement to announce all of the returning cast members on Twitter.
