Even the other characters are very ambiguous. Hell, the story itself is. I might be wrong, but I think all those are creative decisions made by design. And that's perhaps what I like most about the movie, the mystery surrounding the past, present and future of that guy.

Again, to me all of that is merely just one big clever plot device that's utilized to distract the viewer from the numerous other glaring artistic mediocrities in the film.

Yes, it is impressive. But, to me, not nearly impressive as his other films that are able to succeed in a multitude of arts, not just conceptually.

I don't like the first
The second is my favorite, the thing I don't like about it is burning the virus dead then the need to inject that woman with the anti-virus after it was confirmed the virus was killed
The third is alright, Lawrence Fishburne threw me off, one time he was the traitor, another he congratulated Ethan on his success
Fourth one is probably the strongest

I don't think Tom Cruise is THAT good of an actor, but I do think he does a phenomenal job picking roles. He's one actor I can pretty consistently depend on to the turn out good movies.

I used to think The Goonies was a masterpiece until I got older. I still find it enjoyable , but wouldn't expect it to be popular with today's younger crowd.

I liked The Brady Bunch , Beverly Hillbillies , and Addams Family films. I haven't seen any of them since I was a teenager though , but I'll revisit Addams Family when it hits blu ray.
