Okay, Fincher may have gotten a great performance out of Timberlake, but I'm a tad more skeptical on Tatum.

What a downgrade.

I like Tatum but he does have his limitations, and if this is a period piece, Tatum has a very 'modern' look to him.

Tatum was actually pretty good in The Eagle. I give him slack for 21 Jump Street and honestly, Magic Mike.

It seems like this movie's happening, but I keep hearing how Fincher might make it. I don't understand the problem, but it would be extremely cool to see a movie like this set under the sea. Even the title gets me excited.

I would prefer if Fincher tackled Moby Dick.

I don't know, I just imagine all types of deep-sea creatures we've never seen before would be in this movie. Moby Dick would just have a whale in it, I think. I'd still want to see that, but I want this movie more.

There are apparently creatures miles below that we haven't even discovered yet because we haven't built anything capable of getting that deep.

James Cameron has and can go that deep.

That's why this movie could be incredible. Maybe it will even pave the way for Aquaman and Namor movies.

I still need to see 21 Jump Street, but when I see Tatum in a role, I think to myself you could have gotten 10 other better actors to be that role.

It's just I don't know... whenever I hear his name attached to something cool, my interest just goes down.

Many hypothosize the possibility of the likes of Megladon and creatures like 'The Kraken' still living down in the deepest depths of the undiscovered ocean.
