Evans' legs look mighty fine to me. And the rest of him is pretty good, too.

The pants are too tight, and the boots are too big. That's why his legs seem "weak".

I think Cap's pants are just tight enough, thank you. And weak doesn't describe those thighs at all.

Yep. The boots make his calves look huge but then the suit adds no bulk to his thighs, which makes his legs look skinny as heck.

Cap has always had some tree trunk legs looking through some of the comics. Wouldn't mind seeing Evans add some mass to his legs now that everyones pointed it out.

Only bad part of the costume is how there's nothing going on in the back. The front is so busy & then it's a blank slate on the back.

Which is weird because the figure versions give him a full stripe deco on the back as well as the back star. So it appears the concept versions filled out the costume.

I get the impression they had to rush some changes on the costume and maybe they didn't get to finish. Because originally it seems like they wanted exposed ears and slightly raised wings.

Let's be honest here. Back in those days, every Marvel character had tree trunk legs. Jack Kirby even drew Sue Storm and Sif with thick thighs. I'm not criticizing or complaining; I love that artwork. But it's a different thing when you're talking about real human bodies instead of drawings. It's easy enough to say that an actor should add mass here or there, but it can be difficult if not impossible to achieve that.

Yeah, you can't really go by an individual artist...

Evans was in fine shape for avengers, but getting back up to his CA:TFA shape would be ideal

I can sort of see not putting the star on the back. But there was absolutely no reason not to put the stripes all the way around.

Maybe they could say that the costume was designed in an emergency and SHIELD didn't get time to finish the star on the back or the stripes all the way round. Or they ran out of material.

I was under the impression that the stripes served as abdomen protection, and wrapped around just enough onto his back to protect his kindeys. I would like to see the star magnet on his back though so he can wear the shield on his back like the first movie. In all honesty, I really liked the Avengers suit, and the only problem I had with it was the blue on his gloves. Don't know why but it irks the hell out of me every time I see it. I mean they couldnt use red? Really?

Unless they recast Maurice Jones-Drew as Cap, you aren't gonna see Cap with those ridic thighs on the big screen. lol

It won't make or break the movie for me either way if he does stay the same.

I thought the back part was fine since most of us are just staring at his butt anyway, no need for anything else.

Let's not forget he's a brilliant actor! I really want them to show some of his talent in this film.

A magnetic star on Cap's back for the shield would be a really cool idea. I'm just not sure about that because then it seems like all the enemy needs is a giant magnet to yank Cap's shield away from him. Personally, I've always liked the way he keeps the shield on his back using the arm straps.

IMO Sebastian Stan is really underrated too.

I hope this gets him a little more notice.

Somebody had to dress Steve, comb his purty hair, put a little mascara on those long eyelashes and tuck him into bed, right? We all know which SHIELD agent was first in line to volunteer for those duties....
