What did everyone think of this week's episode???
Spoilers! Pretty wild! That whole chase scene was crazy intense! I loved the storm-drain reference at the end. Ahsoka sure does have some slick moves, this is definitely not the way I was expecting the story to go. I can't wait to find out who's behind it, everything points toward Sidious but I'm really hoping it's some cool new rogue Jedi character. I thought it was funny in the beginning when Yoda asked for a moment of silence, and Ahsoka immediately starts chatting to her friend. |

I loved it. Yes, I thought Palpatine myself, but my son reminded me Ventress is in this arc.
I like Anakin's "Set blasters on stun! I want her alive!" Had that vibe of "And bring me the passengers! I want them alive!"

The chase was awesome and unrelenting. Ashoka just has grown into such a great character!
Loved the Empire vibes and themes.

Another quality episode, this may actually have been my favourite episode to date visually, the rain swept military prison with the stone Clone statues was so atmospheric, and combined with the amazing chase sequence just really made this ep for me.
I like how conflicted Anakin was, he wants to help her but is trying to follow the Jedi way, their scene at the sewage outlet was a nice riff on the classic scene in The Fugitive. ![]() Cool to see Tarkin again.

I guessing this isn't going to be the last season, but I don't think Ashoka is coming back from this completely. Looks like this may be the beginning of her exile, and will explain where she was in Episode 3.

Is it confirmed that she gets exiled/what happens to her, or is it still a mystery?

I think it would be good to go ahead and do one of the three by this season's end, or, at the least, not wait until the last season to do it. Doing it sooner rather than later would allow Anikan time to reap the consequences.

Cool!
Hopefully it's exile/leaving the order. Ahsoka has a rather large fan base, I can't imagine they'd kill her off. This episode was really interesting when Ahsoka's friend asked if she ever wondered whether not it's 'right' to suppress your feelings. Given Ahsoka's previous romantic interests and questioning it really felt like they were planting a seed for the future. I agree Marvolo, I'd like to see Ahsoka taken out sooner rather than later. I'm not sure it'll play out that way though, she's such a huge part of the show it probably won't occur until the final episodes. Another moment I really loved about this weeks episode was Anakin dealing with the prison guards. They did a great job of making him seem like he was pushing back every natural urge to bust his way in there. I was almost certain he was going to toss the clones against the wall and march on in, and was quite surprised when he didn't. |

They've definitely shown a lot of hints here and there, in both Anakin's words and actions. More so in his dialogue than actions though. It's interesting watching him flip flop between angry and borderline ruthless, and spouting Jedi rules to Ahsoka. "Do as I say, not as I do."

I really liked the episode but i was hoping we could see a glimpse of Vader in Anakin like we did he in the old Clone Wars when he felt helpless.

I loved this episode a lot, but something just didn't sit right with me as far as why she didn't trust Anakin. Her just asking why he didn't try to help her and not accepting him saying he tried to leads to an entire apprenticeship going into jeopardy because of a single doubt she has? I hope they go a little more in detail as to why she felt that way since it really did (to me) kind of come out of nowhere.

Except she's not. A Mary Sue is a character that the author uses to put herself into the story and makes the character utterly perfect to the point of being annoying. Ahsoka has none of those qualities. None of the Clone Wars writers are inserting themselves with the character and she has many flaws. She has a flawed Jedi master, she's rash, rebellious, incredibly vulnerable, is far too determined to win, has an excessively aggressive nature, has made decisions with bad consequences, etc. Ahsoka's imperfections are intentionally designed by the writers as opposed to a writer who writes a Mary Stu character who puts in flaws unintentionally. See Bella Swan.

What's a 'bamf'? I knew what a Mary Sue was, but I don't recall the term 'bamf'.

Ahh...yes. If there was no proof before, this most recent episode absolutely makes Ahsoka a bamf.

Dem moves. Ahsoka for Catwoman in Batman reboot.
Kudos to the composer, too. Amazing music. Loved the tribute to "The Fugitive" at the end.
