I agree. Season 5 and 6 floundered for me but the second half of season 7 really picked up when Holly came back. Still, I would gladly take a season 5 or 6 episode any day over what we have now. I feel like I was spoiled with season 2 and 3.

I like how the thread title is still season 7. Was it season 8/last season that made us all want this show to die immediately?

Anyone else think that when Jim and Pam watch the 'documentary' they will refind their 'love'?

The moment Carell left. It was over.

Like Scrubs fans, I view the last two seasons as a spin-off starring the same cast.

Scrubs is one of my favorite sitcoms ever, but I refused to watch after that perfect finale for JD. Once I heard it was getting picked back up, I just chose to pretend it didn't exist.

It actually wasn't completely horrible, it was just unnecessary. I still haven't seen the last couple episodes, but I don't really care to.

If this season was as bad as Season 8, I wouldn't even be watching it anymore. It's not The Office at it's best, but at least it has much improved on last year to the point where it might still end with a bit of dignity.

I agree. I actually laughed a couple of times during this past episode.

No new episode this week as Parks and Rec will air two episodes.
When The Office returns we'll get to see what The Farm spinoff was going to be like.

Exclusive: The Office Pits Dwight Against Sopranos Vet Michael Imperioli
BY ANDY PATRICK

Now that The Office’s Jim is dividing his time between two desks, obviously Dwight needs a new nemesis, right? (Right.) And TVLine has learned exclusively that that foil is going to be played by none other than Sopranos alum Michael Imperioli!

As a matter of fact, the actor is taping today in his new role of Sensei Billy, the karate instructor who’s about ready to commit hara-kiri over Dwight’s inimitable “presence” in his dojo. (Dwight, an impossible student? Imagine that.)

Something tells us that, if he isn’t able to get his pupil into a black belt and outta there, there’s a 50/50 shot he’ll throttle Dwight with one.

Imperioli’s episode is slated to air in the spring.

They've been introducing his aunt and other cousin so when they air the failed Farm pilot as an episode of The Office we'll know a couple of the characters.

Man what the heck happened to Andy? I used to really like him in early seasons but he is just awful this one. There was no rooting value in him in the last episode and he made me sick. He really lost a lot of points for the simple fact that he brought Gabe back.

Blah! That part was awesome. I agree that Andy is a tremendous douche but I feel for him and his situation and bringing Gabr back was just hilarious for the simple fact that it's ****ing Gabe

Why do you feel for him? He only has himself to blame for losing Erin.

Whilst I think Andy has been written poorly in recent times, I think you can apply this logic to most of the characters now.
Is there anyone on the show that's actually likable anymore?
I miss the days when the only person I didn't like (not a love to hate, but just a general dislike) was Kevin.
This now applies to pretty much everyone.

I find Erin more likable now than I used to. Her idiocy used to annoy me more than anything. Now she's matured, to a degree.

But, yeah, most everyone is a real dick now. Angela's the most hatable, but even the good ones like Oscar are just complete ***holes.

Yeah I would probably go as far to say that I hate Oscar more than Angela.
In fact, Oscar (and his actions) made her slightly more likable IMO.

Nah, she's awful through and through. Self righteous to boot.

Oscar ****ing her husband felt like years of karma lying in wait to attack Angela when she was most vulnerable and I lol'd hard.

But he's a prick nonetheless.
