My faves:
Tennant
Smith
McGann
Eccleston
Davison

Next: I'm so excited for this. Big Finish really dropped the ball ten years ago on 'Zagreus', espescially after the brilliance of 'Neverland' and it's cliffhanger, which is my favorite in all of Who history. (Catching up to Big finish really quickly!) and i'm really excited to buy this one. The teaser is awesome!

Oh snap, I didn't know Geoffrey Beevers (The Master) was gonna be in this. Now I'm even more excited.

All Doctors to return for anniversary special?
http://www.mirror.co.uk/tv/tv-news/d...pecial-1710900

Quote:
BBC bosses are going to attempt to regenerate ALL the former Time Lords, reuniting them in a Doctor Who special.

Seven of the surviving actors are set to return in cameo roles on the 3D episode to mark the 50th anniversary of the sci-fi favourite.

And chiefs also want to involve the first three Doctors – William Hartnell, Patrick Troughton and Jon Pertwee – who have died since the first episode screened back in 1963.

They would be included in the feature-length special using computer generated images and old footage.
Also, since it's mentioned as a possibility, I really hope that Smith doesn't bow out in the special. He still has a few good years left.

I would rather see the last five Doctors together than all eleven of them.

Yeh, I'm really looking forward to this. I hope it's released as part of a set with the 50th and assorted stuff, rather than on it's own.

I think the most you can sign an actor to in the UK is like 3 years. It is possible he signed a new 2 year contract which I hope he sticks around for a nice while.

Smith will be in the 2013 Christmas Special. After that, it is unknown, as his contract will expire next year, if I remember correctly.

Reece Shearsmith has been cast as actor Patrick Troughton in the TV movie An Adventure in Space and Time, which details the creation of Doctor Who. Troughton was the second actor to play the Time Lord in the long-running time travel show, taking over the role from William Hartnell in 1966. As previously announced, Harry Potter actor David Bradley has been cast as Hartnell.

Shearsmith is best known for appearing in the amazingly bizarre British sitcom The League of Gentlemen alongside An Adventure… screenwriter Mark Gatiss. “I first asked Reece about 12 years ago when I started thinking about this project,” Gatiss told Britain’s Radio Times. “We were in the midst of League of Gentlemen and I just remember thinking, if anyone plays Patrick Troughton, it should be Reece. Like the second Doctor, he’s small, saturnine and a comic genius.”

You can see behind-the-scenes footage from An Adventure in Space and Time and a League of Gentlemen episode below. The current season of Doctor Who will resume on BBC America March 30.

Adventures in Time and Space TARDIS set

Screw series 8! Let's just redo the 1st and 2nd doctor stories.

It shouldn't take more than 6 to 7 years if they copy the production to a "T"

You know what I loved about the TARDIS set back in the 1st Doctor's era? That they built the sets to the planets right next to it, so you got these incredible shots of the gang walking out of the TARDIS onto a new world in a single camera shot.

Damn. I hope they think of some way to use that set in the new series. Maybe as part of the 50th Anniversary special?

It's too good to only use for the "making of Doctor Who" TV special.

Why can't they just do a new series starring Bradley as the 1st Doctor?! Those sets looks sweet!

New Moffat interview

https://www.youtube.com/watch?featur...&v=h7VQrnMzjrU

"one 60 minute special" is nonsense according to him

Jenna Louise Coleman interview

http://www.standard.co.uk/lifestyle/...s-8505559.html

JLC confirms that Matt Smith will be away in America for three months shooting his film, so it'll be August before they make the Christmas Special and at least September before they start shooting any of Series 8.

They'll have only shot ONE episode in EIGHT months(Anniversary special)

After that it's the Christmas special then straight to series 8 filming

Looks likely that Series 8 will be split too since there's only enough time(December to April) for at least 7 episodes in the can.

So where's that 2nd anniversary special Moff? Fall 2014? Yeesh

I'm way excited for AD ADVENTURE IN SPACE AND TIME and never really cared for thos e extremely early eras of Doctor Who. He looks great as the first doctor. Hoping we get a trailer soon. Everything looks so...authentic. It's amazing. Hopefully we'll get sequels or follow-ups.
