Cool. I'll put up a link when I get home later tonight. Interested to see what people think. It's going to be my first movie since I graduated.

It's two intertwining story lines. One is about a presumed low level thug who is supposed to deliver this captured man to a car in a certain location but he accidentally places him in the trunk of the wrong vehicle. And the other storyline follows the two guys who discover the man in their car and how they deal with the situation while this thug is searching for the car that has this man. It's probably about 15 minutes long.

I'll post a sendspace link tomorrow. Looking forward to hearing both positive and hopefully not too many negative comments about our short.

![]() Scene opens: A blonde haired man in his thirties, wearing a black business suit, sits at a computer at a public library. Zoom in on computer screen: The man logs into www.superherohype.comunder the screen name of "Thundarr". He points and clicks on the Fandom Come board, and then on The Screenwriting Thread and writes, "My next writing project, after Thundarr The Barbarian vs Dracula, is going to be a movie script for a feature length, live action adaptation of Thundarr The Barbarian. It would be an origins story, of how Thundarr, Ariel, and Ookla met, where Thundarr got his Sunsword, etc. I was wondering if anyone on here would be willing to collaborate with me on this project? Send me a Private Message and let me know." |

Sorry I haven't posted a link yet to the script for my short film. Waiting for my brother to read it, co-director, so we can discuss it. Got to make the necessary edits and then I would love for you guys to check it out. I want to say Tuesday, Wednesday at the latest.

Wow, I didn't realize we had a thread for screenwriting, this is cool. Is there a website that can help with some of the rules for writing a script? I always have a difficult time knowing when to capitalize certain words in my descriptions.

I wrote a script last summer that I got 3 drafts into.It was a Superhero script with a very indie feel.It was more of an ensemble piece that delved into the hero's life and villain's life outside of them fighting each other.I was gonna do another draft, but I may find some other format to do it.(Like a Flash series or Web Comic).
I tried to make it more like a Drama with Action elements.I re-read it,and I like some elements of it,but I think my problem is dialogue.I really need to practice on my dialogue more.I may go back to it. |

So I have this unfinished screenplay I've been working on...it's a sci-fi/crime film involving time traveling, and a hitman. I might post it sometime but it's all in notebooks lol

I've always been afraid to post any of my writing on the internet. I always think it'll get stolen if it's good, or ripped on if it's bad.

Yeah, the only things I've posted on the internet are a couple of fan fics which have gotten good reviews. I've been really considering pursuing a career in writing but don't know where to start

Where to start, meaning what to write? Or how to get into the business?

Any hobby writers willing to write something (very) short for me? It won't take much time (problem is I'm not native English and need a short dialogue). Let me know in PVT.

So I just finished that superhero screenplay the other day (mentioned it in an earlier post), and I already came up with an idea for a new screenplay. Is it a bad thing to start a new screenplay right after finishing another one?

Hello everyone! I graduated from film school about 2 years ago and have been trying to get my foot in the door since (It's no cake walk).
I finished my first screen play last year and I think it's pretty good. It's certainly no award winner but I'm confident that it's film-able at the least. It's called "The Meadow", and it's a slasher/horror film about a group of overly busy college students who embark on a road trip to free them from the demands of college life. As you can imagine, things go horribly wrong. The script is available for anyone who wishes to read it. You can find it on my triggerstreetlabs page. ![]() http://labs.triggerstreet.com/screen...ese/the-meadow Thanks for your time and happy writing!
