Well, lets see. I paid 25 bucks for 12 issues.
Normally they sell for like 4 bucks a pop, so that would be 48 bucks. So a discount of about half.

Dang. Most places do like 10-20%. Um... suck it up and think of that discount over the weeks you're waiting for your comics to arrive?

Doesn't Marvel only offer like 10 of their books for subscription, though?
I always thought that was kinda dumb. DC had least puts most of their stable of titles up.

Grant Morrison's leaving Action Comics
![]() http://uk.ign.com/articles/2012/07/2...-action-comics I kinda hoped that he would stay in Action comics for more than 16 issues and that he would develop Superman as much as he did Batman

With the way comics are being written for trade, you should be used to it by now.

True true. But Morrison's always been better than most at bringing up threads and then resolving them in a single issue.

And sometimes he hasn't. This being one particular case. Guess he was sober when he wrote that issue.

I have a question for you guys about Action Comics. I know the first few issues take place in Superman's "past." Is there a time jump in Action Comics to make it in sync with other books, or does Morrison's run take place several years behind the rest if DC's books?

It jumps around in time for a few issues too. Honestly, the timeline is really hard to follow in Action Comics because parts of it take place non-linearly and such. Morrison's crazy brain in action, you know.

Is the first arc of Action Comics the definitive New 52 Superman origin, or is Birthright still applicable?

Birthright couldn't have happened. The Kents died before he became Superman now (again).

Besides, Birthright was only ever in continuity for like a few years. Hell, months really. I mean there's been like 3 other origin stories and a reboot since then.

Alternate reality black Superman is interesting. Comparing Obama to Superman ..... nauseating.
