But I'm actually okay with Halle's compexion...she's brown enough. And she's gorgeous. It's just...everything else that struggles for me. It's funny to say this but...I think she actually looked less like Storm and more like B.A.P.S. in X2 and X3.

Never liked the "Soccer Mom" look she or Famke were wearing in the second film.

You know what is funny to me? She resembled Storm most in the first film with the worst wig.

If they bring her back for Days Of Future Past, I'd hope they'd go for a classic look...Storm is not "trendy" usually.

What I liked about Storm's hair in X1 was the length but those mini bangs ruined the look.

The hair was originally going to be parted. Not sure why they decided to go for the bangs...that's where the fakeness came in.

Let's hope that EVERYONE in Days Of Future Past get better wigs. I swear FOX has the cheapest budget in that department.

I don't think $75 Million was a small budget for the first X-Men film. Of course it sounds small today because some major blockbuster films today have a budget of 200 to 250 million dollars. But back in 2000, the most expensive movie (The Perfect Storm) that was released during that year had a budget of $140 million. The press also expected the movie to flop. So I think a $75million budget is a very reasonable budget for the first X-Men movie.

It sounds small because it is small, relative to the other movies on that list and relative to what X-Men tries to accomplish. X-Men even has a smaller budget than What Women Want, a romantic comedy.

Its not that small for a first movie and What Women Want has Mel Gibson. The only really well-known actors in the X-Men movie during that time were Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen but they were not mega movie stars like Mel Gibson and Tom Cruise. Plus comic-book movies weren't popular and big yet. $50 million is small but $75 million is not that small and it isn't too expensive, its just right in the middle.

Nevermind about What Women Want. I misread that. It has a budget of $70 million. Still, for what X-Men tries to accomplish, $75 million is pretty tame, especially considering how much Fox bumped it up for the sequels.

$75 million was just perfect. Sure they would have probably included Beast and another Brotherhood member if the budget was bigger. But the movie got $150 million at domestic box-office, it doubled its budget. If X-Men had a really huge budget like $140 million and it still got $157 million at domestic box-office. FOX would have thought twice about making a sequel, they would have lowered the budget for the next movie and the press would have made a big deal out of it.

Of course. There's also the possibility that it could have earned a lot more too, and that the franchise currently wouldn't be criticized for not reaching its potential. Who knows?

Well, for a start Sara Martins does not look 35 at all. I would guess mid to late 20s when I saw her in the TV show Death in Paradise.

She has screen presence, a sexy body and an exotic look. And another major advantage is her fantastic accent. No need for dialect coaches to try to get an authentic accent from the actress and then viewers hearing the accent go all over the place, she already has a perfect accent. I wish I could put a clip of the recent episode of Death in Paradise on here, she immediately made me think 'that's young Storm!'.

yeah, lets hope once someone asks her about it, she gives us a positive answer about the possible return and maybe about Singer. would be a good way to start cleaning the negative idea many people has about their relationship

Even If she Is In talks to return she may be told to say nothing till Bryan Singer or fox wants to release that Information.It may be case of her saying she knows nothing or wiating for the call.

You direct your anger at Halle Berry about her wanting screentime and then you state something that had nothing to do with Halle. You know she didn't write the script, right? Storm was completely different in the first two films as you state and became a 'leader and a fighting badass' by the third. If you truly love Storm why would you not be happy at getting a Storm that was closer to the comic representation. Storm is a leader and a fighting badass. That's a good thing. It's a pity that the film didn't do more to make her a more accurate portrayal. They gave Hallle all that screen time but didn't give her anything to do. Such a waste.

You could be right. (Shawn Ashmore serving as an example) even if she has met up with Bryan or LSD and signed a contract she may not say anything substantial in her interviews. I'd still like to hear from her though.

We don't know what influence she had over the screenplay in X3. She was the last to sign on for that film so it's possible that screentime was a negotiation point. Since Storm is not integral to any story line in X3, they could have easily just given her more screentime without affecting the basic structure of the screenplay (like say, give her a pointless "You of all people know how quickly the weather can change" scene or a Eulogy scene, neither of which has any important purpose in the story).

Why wouldn't they want to release that information? Why would Bryan be waiting this long?
