I'm afraid that WB/DC will continue to objectively view Wonder Woman as a sexual being much in the similar way as the failed WW pilot. |

If women are okay with no pants, so am I. I think straps for her top are more necessary.

I'd rather she had pants or a battle skirt than straps.

So it's not about practicality for you?

![]() I believe the battle skirt is the best way to go, as it keeps her sexually appealing while not demeaning and fits her character origins perfectly. |

Women don't find it demeaning.

A lot of you missed the very important point that I made about having an actress with a well build and proportioned body - it is with this type of physicality that an actress could pull off wearing any kind of outfit whether it is a swimsuit, skirt or pants. Btw, the 80s women in my old gym were not working out in aerobic gym, they were in weight gym with men. So none of these leg warmers you seems to think. Some were body builder, and a few were power lifters. |

Just to add in a bit more, the actress Antje Traue is portraying Faora in Man of Steel. She would makes a good Wonder Women based on her action performance in the film, Panorum. Although we have yet to see her in full costume, the toy figure below gave us an idea what she will looks like. Now, you can make a Wonder Women design using this Faora template and it will look absolutely fabulous on screen.

You think bikini bottoms are practical?
In any case, practicality had nothing to do with my post. All I was doing was explaining what I'd rather see if I had to choose. Doesn't mean it looks good. |

The best argument against the swimsuit look is that it's not very "Greek", and something a bit more "battle skirt" would look a bit moreso. But in context, it's really no more practical/impractical than any other short-skirt/swimsuit type design. While Wonder Woman might not be taken quite as seriously as a warrior upon the first look at her, I don't think most women care that much about her costume being somewhat revealing.

Some days I get so happy no one here is touching the WW movie production.

Yeah, wouldn't want to see Alexa Davalos as WW at all.
Doesn't mean it looks bad.

Go outside and ask any woman if they want Wonder Woman in a bikini. Most will say no.

Did you do that? Because other people have and they said yes.

It's been around for quite a while and survived changes, so it couldn't look nearly as bad as you think.

The longevity of the underwear isn't relevant to me. I have a pretty good idea of what they'd look like in live action, thanks to some pretty great manips, and my opinion hasn't changed.

That's fine, but more people disagree with you than not.
