That sounds so good, and plausible, that I wouldn't put it past Synder, who we know likes to use and pay homage to the comic books heavily. The s curl might seem a tad contrived if it was there the whole time in this realistic setting (for example the SR curl looks way too forced) so it appearing during a fight would be an epic touch.

I think it's mostly due to Cavill. He looks so stiff in every picture of his I've seen.

That's not limited to just SR. Unfortunately, way to many trailers far exceed that of the movie it self...

I just fell over T2's trailers yesterday though! There's one example where the movie is a masterpiece of sci-fi action when you see it. But the trailers though makes it look rather weak. It's true... Anyway, I got nostalgic, and I introduced Terminator 2: Judgement Day, to my girlfriend, and she surprisingly loved it too... Even today, 22 whole years later, T2 is just one of those films that's still just as good, if not better then when it premiered! It's one hell of a "monster" of a movie, and one of my favorites of all time - always will be.

That's because most trailers sucked prior to 1996. The art of good trailer making is a recent phenomenon.

When T2 came out on video I watched it every day after school for a year. I actually wore out the tape and saved up my allowance to re-buy it. It still holds up today. Just re-watched it a month ago with the wife.

Me too, the whole subplot with the terminator learning after they turn the chip off read only is great. And the effects shots that show the T-1000 malfunctioning after it re-forms should have been left in.

Ha Ha, it looks like WB has instructed him to attend as many events as possible and pose like Supes for the photographers, maybe he (and Carano) get some money for that too.
