I'm still going with my theory that the woman who says "My son saw what Clark did to the bus" in the trailer is Lex's Mum.

That would be interesting just because we rarely if ever see his mom.

not sure how I feel about that lol, Lex's mom in Smallville....again, I'd like for a different take on that. The "Lex and Clark grew up in Smallville" route has been done, and while some have liked it, overall ppl seem to really dislike that idea.
Would be cool though if Lex's mom was involved somehow since like fanboiii said, we hardly ever see her or read about her. I have a question for you guys though, would you want to see Lex at the end of Man Of Steel in a similar scene to the end of Superman: Earth One - Vol.2? I'd personally love that

I think Billy Zane would make an incredible Lex Luthor. I'm basically imagining his character's demeanor from Titanic with a little more outright malevolence. He has the look, has a suitable voice, I think he would be a great choice to play a serious version of the character.

Billy Zane would be an excellent choice under Zack Snyder's guidance. Like Cameron, Snyder has a talent of getting good performances out of mediocre actors who have the correct presence for the role (see Gerard Butler in 300 and how he hasn't done anything of note since).

Billy Zane, old fan favorite. I would rather have an A-lister who can take Lex to a whole new level.

Does Billy Zane have anything to recommend him for the role other than him being bald? His baldness has had people listing him as a dream choice for Lex Luthor for the past 20 years or so, as if actors with hair are unable to shave their heads.

I wish I had the power to ban Billy Zane from being fancast as Lex.
