That was a lovely and humble interview, especially how she says that she is impressed by all the other things around her but still hears all the bum notes she hits.
It was also sweet that she wanted to call on 117 as well because she was nice to her. And she seemed quite emotional at some point. Is Anne's acceptance speech and when she was announced online anywhere yet?

It's kind of baffling how Nolan managed that.

Pretty incredible. The only one I think you're missing Joker is Ken Watanabe, who got a best supporting nom for his role in The Last Samurai. And it's a crime that Gary Oldman isn't on that list, but he'll get there. I think Tom Hardy can join the ranks as well.
But wow...every single al Ghul (even the fake one) is an Oscar winner/nominated. That is insane

Anne was already on that list before last night, but now she's even bigger having actually won.
Now wouldn't it be cool if she did star in a Catwoman spin-off and got nominated/ won for Selina Kyle with her moving and engaging character study of the descent of an impoverished factory worker into the seedy world of prostitution cat burglary.

Gotta be honest...if she would have thanked "Selina Kyle" for giving her the strength she needed to get through playing Fantine or something to that effect...I would have geeked out SO hard, lol.

I was thinking that when she went up to do her speech that she seemed really like an old-time movie star just like Audrey Hepburn. She even managed to have the short hair when she had her Oscar win and a similar style dress. Anne really seems to be working the Audrey look, both in real life and on film lol.

She even seems to have the same eyebrows and eyelashes.
Now all Anne needs to do is a remake of Roman Holiday. It's about time she did another romantic comedy.

Oh, wow! I
this so much! I kinda hope Anne will keep at this streak of more serious roles and kind of stray away from comedies for a while. Keep bringing in those nominations Anne!

Oh that would be cool if she stars as Eliza Doolitle.
Then she also needs to star in remakes of Breakfast at Tiffany's and Charade.

That's a bold comparison. Audrey Hepburn is on another level.
