Two perfect Catwomen. The resemblance in Rises was clearly purposeful. Couldn't have made a wiser choice.
It's a shame Audrey never got to play her in some capacity. Would've put stars in my eyes to go back and watch that.

![]() It looks like scenes from a Selina Kyle movie - maybe the spin off where she's in Italy while running some errands while Bruce is back at their hotel.

She looks nothing like Anne in the commercial... Hepburn always had more defined eyes and lips than Anne.
The short hair is throwing everybody off.

It's obvious they're not spitting image twins, but the similarities are fun to throw a little enchantment at. I don't see the harm.

And Hepburn had a demure, graceful personality. They don't make them like they used to. Anne Hathaway and JLaw's colorful, youthful personality is quite the contrast.

Yes because civil rights happened and women do not have to be demure little wallflowers anymore.

I like Hatway as an actress , and she's very good looking....but nowhere near Audrey Hepburn (beauty-wise , not acting) . But i could say the same regarding any woman.
She was like the perfect specimen lol. Looking at some photos of an old Audrey , you could see an unparalleled beauty. |

She did look like she'd shatter to pieces if she tripped and fell.

Anderson Cooper says he doesn't get the "hatred" for Anne.

What hatred is that? Is Anne so disliked? I thought she is liked by most people, and even the loudest naysayers of Les Mis or The Dark Knight Rises usually praise Anne's performances in there.

I don't think I've ever hated an actor in my life... How can you possibly and truly hate somebody you don't know.
Anne seems like a lovely person, an accomplished actress who has worked hard to gain both commercial and critical recognition. And at 30 years of age, I'd say she is doing a fine job. Her award speeches this year were dignified and humble. I assume success of any kind can make some people jealous.

Many people think she's phony and too try-hard. She doesn't to me, but there we are.

She's got a bit of that "theater kid" in her. But she's awesome. I think 2012 won her a lot of fans and converted a lot of people.

I could see that. Don't know if I agree to call her phony. I think that's just her being dorky. Sometimes her silliness is corny in a bad way.

Is this a new fad birthed from bitterness that she won an Oscar?

I like Anne Hathaway, and good for her for winning an Oscar and everything, BUT ...
Can we please stop it with the Audrey Hepburn comparisons? I'm so sick of people trying to find the "new" Audrey. Audrey Hepburn was (and still is) in a class of her own. I think Edgar Wright said it best: "After watching Charade again, I'm convinced that Audrey Hepburn is the new Audrey Hepburn." Sorry, I love Audrey Hepburn, and these comparisons are ridiculously annoying to me.

I wouldn't really compare Anne Hathaway to Audrey Hepburn, but it's clear that there Audrey was a huge inspiration for the portrayal of Selina Kyle in TDKR, especially wardrobe wise. So I think that is where the comparisons have stemmed from for the most part.

Arkham City Catwoman was pretty much Hepburn as Selina Kyle.

I don't hate anyone I just personally don't like people who smile all the time. Plus she can't act that good, imo.
