Yeah, I can't say I'd mind seeing Batman/Superman overwrite that retarded first meeting from Justice League. Have we really not gotten past the point where heroes randomly fighting each other for no reason upon meeting is still considered an acceptable 'story'?

In fairness, Superman saw Batman, who is considered a villain, with a device that just seconds earlier was used to blow up a building. So there was a reason, there was just no reason for him to keep fighting once Flash showed up and tried talking to him.

Maybe they were just pretending not to know each other in JL.

I just read JL 15, 16, and Aquaman 15. I love it! Picking up JL 17 and Aquaman 16 hopefully very soon! Throne of Atlantis is surprisingly awesome despite my general distaste of Aquaman in the past!

Yeah, Throne of Atlantis had some pretty cool moments. One thing I didn't get was the characterization of Orm, though. The prelude issue that was drawn by Pete Woods (who needs to get more work, he's awesome) showed Arthur and Orm having a respectful, almost loving relationship.
Then, next issue Orm was so incredulous that Arthur isn't the King of the surface and wanted to sink Boston. It was so different than the cool-headed version we saw just an issue before. I haven't been keeping up with the series, and jumped on just for this arc. So I might be missing something. But it just felt weird.

I've never given a crap about Aquaman but the prelude issue and the first two parts of Throne of Atlantis motivated me to get caught up with the series. As it turns out, Geoff Johns has make a fantatic comic. Aquaman is probably one of my most looked forward to comics each month. Throne of Atlantis has been good and, in my opinion, it's on par with how good the rest of Aquaman's series has been.

Already? We haven't even seen the first of their issues yet. I hope that doesn't mean Daniel will take over the writing duties of Action as well. *shudders*
