I don't think its that hard to introduce 1 new mutant in the movie. They always introduce a new mutant everytime they do a new X-Men movie and just because the OT cast/First Class cast are appearing in the movie, it doesn't mean they should stop themselves from introducing new characters.

Like someone else mentioned, Hobbit1 already crossed $300m. I think TASM2 will hold around the same as the first ($262m).

You're completely forgetting about other competition like Transformers 4 & The Hunger Games: Mockingjay p1, Bond 24 (unless it's moved back).

Cap:TWS
Pixar Dinosaur film
Guardians of the Galaxy

I doubt Guardians of the Galaxy will cross the $200 million mark at domestic box-office.

It's kind of hard to explain. Digital video cameras record movement whereas Analog cameras take pictures. Those individual pictures are projected at a certain speed of (24 fps) and it makes it look like you're watching movement.

Without the competition from There and Back Again and Brett Ratner's film opening one week later, I hope DOFP tops the box-office for two weeks! And if the movie ends up really good and people really loved it, I could see it getting the #1 spot for 3 straight weeks and Guardians of the Galaxy would just open at #2.

The only way I could see of Bishop making the cut and not take time away from OT cast If It's like Wolverine and the X-Men and have Bishop Introduced

God, another cast member. This is ridiculous. I don't even know why they are bringing back the First Class cast. This seems like a pretty damn crowded movie movie and seems like a covert X-Men 4 than anything else with time Star Trek-ish traveling elements so that X3 can be wiped out.

This is still the smallest X-Men cast yet, and we don't even know the extent of the roles these people will have.

I'm not worried yet. Some of these other X-Men films have had larger casts.

Actually, it's only 11 cast members.

It's important to remember that Xavier and Magneto are each *one* character. Flashbacks featuring a different actor doesn't count for separate characters.

Its not gonna be a 100% adaptation of the comic-book storyline. And I doubt Bryan Singer has seen the animated series. And even if Bishop ends up as the time traveler, I doubt he would time travel alone. It would be a waste opportunity not to do a scene with the OT cast/FC cast together.

If this movie ends up being "X-Men 4" then I'd be thrilled. As for the FC cast, I think most of them will be back. They already signed a 3-film contract with FOX. Bryan Singer probably won't announce if they are back for this movie.

How is that news? When Singer agreed to take helm of DoFP from Matthew Vaughn, it was guaranteed Ottman would come along to score and co-edit the film. They have a Burton/Elfman and Spielberg/Williams kind of collaboration.

The only time Ottman didn't score Singer's film was the first X-Men, and that was because Ottman was busy wearing three hats for Urban Legends: Final Cut (director/editor/composer).
