A uncut, directors or extended cut for TDKR would be sweet!

Heard this rumor the other day. That would be amazing.
But I'm really doubting this will actually happen any time. |

This makes me wonder what else we might get for bonus features on the ultimate collector's edition:

^ Woah, never saw that, thanks for sharing. That Bat-pod stunt and the way they did it is just fantastic.
Also, there must be a ton of unreleased music there is for this movie. Several times in the featurettes I've noticed little bits of alternate cues. Really hoping for a special edition soundtrack collection down the line with all the unreleased goodies from the trilogy. |

Then again, I probably haven't fully explored the app. I have listened to all the suites though, which are amazing. |

![]() I love seeing these "making of" spots. You finally get the movie home and you're like, "Wait that was CG?!?!"

It absolutely should have been nominated for visual effects. And cinematography.

Heck, the Snow White movie had some nice costumes and great special effects even if a dull film as well.
I heard there was a troll or something in Hansel & Gretel that was pretty amazing too.

Yeah I won't even dispute those two, (Mirror, Mirror *costumes and Snow White *effects) really.
It just seems the award 'For Achievement in Visual Effects' is actually the 'Most Visual Effects, that Look Pretty Good Now, but Will Probably Look Kinda Crappy in Five Years' award. Think about how amazingly Jurassic Park has held up. I mean, freaking WOW. Sorry if I'm derailing the thread. Feel free to put me back on track.

I was thinking the same thing. I really hope they toss the fans a bone by showing us the stuff we've been missing out on past blu-ray releases related to the TDK series which i felt have been lacking.
There's apparently a good deal of bane stuff that was left out of the film. |

How I wish Goyer made the screenplay for this one... after seeing it several times, it shows how Jonathan is a thousand miles behind Goyer. And also shows how Christopher was reckless in so many scenes, compared to The Dark Knight.
Great movie tho, dont trash me

Wake me up when Goyer writes a script half as good as the Prestige.
