Well you whipped my ass in the Battle Tournament, even with a partly finished piece. You think you'll be able to whip up something for the finals?

Been a while since Ive posted around these parts, I hope everyones been doing well

Anyway, I have since become a Lost addict and after 100+ episdoes in the space of two weeks I decided to show my love for the character of John Locke the only way I can...

A doodle that evolved, sadly taken on my camera phone...

Hey Ollie,

What do you use for your sculpts? Are you using Sculpy? and if so if it takes you a while to do how do you store it if you start and have to leave it to finish?

I'm looking to try my hand at doing some I know with clay you can cover with wet paper, but I'm not sure if anything needs to be done with sculpy and I haven't found the info online yet.

Yeah its just super sculpey. I don't do anything with the sculpy while storing it, I just leave it on my work table until im ready to start moulding again. Sculpy itself just comes in a cardboard box, so having it at room temperature is fine ( as far as I know ) its basically like plastacine!

Having said that after each session I generally bake it, so not to damage anything while working on another part, that has its draw backs though, as it can occasionally crack... but only slightly.

Did yopu ever finish that Scott Pilgrim piece? I also really want to a done version of that Locke sculpt.

That's good to know. Thanks for the info, I might have to try my hand at some sculpting this year.

I had read about it drying out if left out that was my concern, but there was no real info about storing it to work on later.
