Can't wait to watch "Room 237", the documentary about hidden symbols and conspiracy theories in Stanley Kubrick's The Shining.

I watched this doc on Netflix called "Witness to Jonestown" about rev. Jim Jones. I didn't know much about the story going in. What a horrible and tragic event.

I just watched one on Nextflix called Resurrect Dead: The Mystery of the Toynbee Tiles. Kind of a weird doc, but extremely interesting.

Just saw Room 237 and ... oh my god *sigh*
We have 1 ½ hours of voices talking over slow pans of the scenes from the movie, zoom-ins and all that, as we are drowned out with various conspiracy theories, both large and small. The three large raised is that the film is 1) an allegory of the Holocaust, 2) it is a confession that Kubrick was involved in faking the moon landing, and 3) that the film is about Americans' extermination of the Indians. Then there's also a lot of little trivia things that are much more interesting than the big three, for example when you see the blue print of the hotel and how impossible some appearances in the rooms are, or how Danny's route on his bike is and where he goes. Some times you will sit and shake your head and laugh how stupid some theories are, other times you will sit and actually agree with them haha. A very entertaining "documentary" (if one can call it that). Recommended for fans of Kubrick, conspiracy theories, film-thematics, cinematography, and stuff like that!

I can't watch another Kubrick conspiracy doc. I watched one on youtube that was about 2 hours long, and it was all about how he faked the moon landings, and all the hints that he gave people in his movies.
And I thought Nolan fans were bad....

Saw early yesterday morning the ESPN 30 for 30 documentary "Benji", very sad story that I'd never known much about.
