According to him, it sounds like WB is kicking around the idea of bringing back Bale as Batman, but not in continuity with the Dark Knight Trilogy. He's hinting that WB is keeping an eye on the general opinion. Thoughts?

I really hope he's not slowly working towards confirming the article from **************s.com saying new Batman, no Bale, and no Goyer, without giving that article any credit. I thought he was better than that.

Think about it in this context, the solo films are your 'canon' films, Justice League is your 'elseworlds' film. Same actors, different versions of the characters they've played.

To break it down here's what I envision:

DC Canon
Batman Begins
The Dark Knight
The Dark Knight Rises
Man of Steel

DC Elseworlds
World's Finest
Justice League

That's a compromise I think is workable, we kill two birds with one stone, we get our cross pollination and retain the same actors, but we also retain individuality across the characters solo films. You could then spin off WW, FL, AQM and a rebooted GL in the same way keeping the same actors yet allow them to do what they want without being limited to a shared universe.

What's the lesser of two evils? I didn't say I loved the idea but it's a compromise I think is workable. You'd have to ensure though visually the film series are different.

El May stressed out in his Fox Latino clip that it's about diligence and double-checking your sources. Made a point that, everyone has a screw-up once in a while but you gotta protect your reputation and credibility.

Elsewords....interesting. It'd be uncharted territory so can't say for sure whether that would work or not. I have honestly have no idea if that would be a good idea or a terrible idea right now.

Maybe the movie ends with Bruce Wayne waking up in a cold sweat in his villa with Selina soundly asleep at his side, everything having been a dream.
