Never read the comic, but I finally caved and watched the first episode last week.

Yeah, I don't get it. It just seemed like randomness for the sake of randomness to me.

BUT! I have it on good authority that it gets much better, so maybe I'll try again soon.

I've just watched a few minutes of the show & it is pretty "random", needless to say I'll pass. Perhaps on another occasion, i'll give it another try.

That show is awesome. And it's not random at all. There's over arching sub plots. Like ice king and marceline before the war and before earth became the land ooh. Depth. Shocking depth. Give a few more eps. If for no other reason than it's funny as hell.

Couldn't really get into Adventure Time at first, but it grew on me. It is pretty funny, with a lot of hidden innuendos and adult jokes.
