I would absolutely hate if they merged Zola and MODOK, that's ruining two cool villains just because what? They sort of resemble each other. Lame

The thing about MODOK, at to an extent, Zola, is that they're pretty fantastical, and kind of silly in that way we love.
It's a bit hard to tackle the tragic story of a good soldier who'd been turned against his country during the cold war, while having a giant head with tiny arms (or a robot with a TV belly) floating around. |

On this day in history, the words "Arnim Zola," "MODOK," and "cool" were used in the same sentence. *koff* whiplash *koff*

I think his point was that the costume was a poor adaptation of the original whiplash. It was more of a combination of Whiplash and Crimson Dynamo, and it wasn't great.

I'll give you that Whiplash was a fail, but I do think Zola is cool if you read any of his appearances in the 70s jack Kirby series. But hey agree to disagree.

Either could look badass and intimidating. But ultimately, it's still fantastical. IMHO, a fully human chief villain would work better.

You could just make Zola look like Cain from Robocop 2. Audiences wouldn't find a design like that hard to take seriously.
Modok wouldn't be that different to this eyeball creature from Big Trouble In Little China I always imagined minus all the eyes. ![]()

Since it is pretty confirmed that Thor gets a teaser by the beginning of April, didnt Feige say that the marvel boxset will have Cap goodies too?

Emphasize that he's a freakish science experiment gone horribly wrong, and make him gross and SCARY! rather than humorous. Making him suitably monstrous is the key. Like Vera, but with less 80's cheese:

The most we could see from TWS is concept art or maybe test footage since it doesn't actually start filming for another 3 or 4 weeks & the Box Set is well into mass production at this point.

I heard Baron Zemo is the villain. And how is Dr. Zola still alive in The Winter Soldier film even though its like 60+ years after The First Avenger

Zemo picked up those designs on his desk when he was running away.

I wished for like a Teaser Trailer for The Avengers 2 at the end of this film. That would be sooo awesome.

They did at the First Avenger, I'm sure they'll do again in Winter Solider.

All depends on when they start filming. With CA 2 coming out in April instead of July, they'd need to start filming TA2 in like January 2014 to get the 3 months of work they had for TA when the first teaser was released.

I would expect it more from GOTG, as they'll have more footage/SFX done for Avengers 2 by then.

Forgot about that being the second 2014 Marvel movie. With it coming out in August, they'd likely have started Avengers 2 and would have enough stuff to put out a small teaser.

I'm still confused about Marvel's 2014 schedule
Your big name movie in mid-April, and a relatively unknown out in August? May-July are the really big months of the Summer movie season, why completely avoid it?? If anything makes me think they don't have a ton of confidence in some of their films, it's that
