Why ditched the undies? It should close to the orginal suit. Plus look at Manof Steel's suit....it sucks.

To those anti- grey folks, I am sorry but I stand by the traditional look. Remember Batman would mostly be in the shadows unlike Nolan's.
If I would made my batman series, the suits would be based on. 1) Golden Age suit for the first movie. Patient J suit. 2) The Year One suit. Dead End suit. Use it for the justice league movie. 3) the yellow oval for the four movie. 4) The Frank Miller suit. Before someone calls it silly, well all of these suits can have armor and Batman would be in the shadows. |

I think having batman in the shadows yes would hide his suit but would also make everything pointless as you will not see it and that was the biggest thing that people *****ed about with batman begins was you never got to see the suit he was always in the shadows.
I would still like see a film style suit rubber style but instead of black have it a dark grey And keep the gloves boots cape and cowl black |

For those who says black looks horrid in the comics, take a good look:
http://static5.businessinsider.com/i...encasement.jpg http://goodcomics.comicbookresources...%20costume.jpg http://desmond.imageshack.us/Himg25/...pg&res=landing For the grey-haters: http://mmg.photobucket.com/albumview...ecomp.jpg.html http://m208.photobucket.com/albumvie....jpg.html?o=12 http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_SWcXxYPqxG...00/BATMAN2.jpg Off the subject, I love how the bat emblem is broken into segments, almost like the spider emblem on the amazing spiderman suit. But I love the yellow bat emblem more! |

I just picture some 50 year old comic book fan in that City of Scars outfit. I'm sorry.

I think the Batman Beyond suit would've been a better example.

Yeah, in that comic they just give it a blue/grey highlight. And the first cover is ehh.
So, what about the utility belt?

I would either do a BB/TDK belt or arkham asylum/city armored suit belt:

I would have a tech/pouch hybrid. I think that old fashioned pouches are very low-tech for Batman.

![]() Hard to see really well but the picture on the right, the promotional art for Batman in Injustice is pretty cool and seems to work pretty well. |

If Superman can't have the trunks, neither can Batman.

The problem with the yellow oval is it really doesn't seem like someone would wear to put fear in the heart of a criminal. In all honesty, what is appealing about the yellow oval design?

How about something like the "Injustice" suit for the reboot?

It feels even more armored than TDK. I like the second skin of batman in injustice. That one feel like a really good mix

The belt's yellow and it almost always has been, so I don't see what harm a yellow ellipse does.

2. I think this is great. I think for a movie, conceptually it'd have to be different. But what I like is that it retains the great, has some black but also some color that might be better used for actual night-time stealth. The deep-blue is a great color on its own, it's actually almost a dark teal which is neat. These are more like colors of the night sky which makes more sense when you think about and the armor can always be a bit bulky but if you were fighting guys who were either monsters or shooting bullets at you, you'd probably want some armor. I wish the gauntlets looked like they had tech capabilities like the Arkham City ones though, but that's just preference. I tend to like batsuits like this and the Mass-Effect inspired one because they make more sense to me while still looking like Batman. 3. The bat symbol on this is pretty cool too. It's noticeable enough, while the BB, TDK, and TDKR sometimes was almost not visible. |

I just really love the idea of the spandex being under the armor.

Lol at someone asking the appeal of the oval while preferring a simplistic black bat. The Oval is simply iconic, and the B89 poster proves this. |

The poster proves that? Either way, I just don't prefer it.
