loving these Tie-in comics. Hope this one explains how Thor got to earth and maybe even show Loki planing with Thanos on how to take over Earth.

The "Loki" in "Vikings" is a normal human (this is a realistic series, not a fantasy one; they've done considerable research in trying to create an authentic, albeit fictional, portrayal of life in Viking times). He was given his name from the God of Mischief, of course, because this "Loki" is an outsider/outcast who seems to have some form of autism or Asperger's. He's a shipbuilder who helps the main character, Ragnar Lothbrok, build a "high tech" (for the era, that is) longship to allow the Vikings to extend their raids into unknown, unexplored territories like Britain.

A really interesting and entertaining show. It's especially interesting for those of us who are Thor-philes, while we're waiting on our next news fix.

Does anyone know all the comics that are considered canon to the MCU? Earth-19999, IIRC.

As far as I know:

* Fury's Big Week
* The two Iron Man 3 prelude comics
* The (announced) Thor: The Dark World prelude

Any others I might have missed?

heh I've all of them. Because they were digital and I don't have a way to keep the Digital on my own puter.

Yea, I've read those, but are there any more other than those?

I'm secretly hoping that there are a few that I might have missed... need a small MCU fix to tide me over till April 25th.

EDIT, Wait, BURGER KING had some books you could download of Thor. Think there were 4 books, but they were the Comic Book and not the movie characters

Well, if it really makes around half of what the Avengers did, I'll be very happy. Anyway, It's nice to see this movie being recognized as a potential blockbuster.

OMG, those socks!!!

Heretofore, I had always considered the Thor valentines (the movie ones) to reign supreme as the worst franchise tie-in product (even over the Thor-Destroyer salt-and-pepper shaker set). But these socks are worthy challengers!

I gonna go out on a limb and speculate a bit... There are a bunch of items in Odin's Vault including The Eye and Orb of Agamoto, the Flame of Surtur, and the Infinity Gauntlet, among other things. I believe I also read that one of the royal family dies, probably Frigga, in an attack. I think the chances are failry high that the vault is looted releasing all of these items back into the world creating new stories and characters like Ragnarok for Thor/Surtur and Dr. Strange with his items. I have no really great idea for how those items find their way out of the Vault without it being looted.

Any other better (more educated) guesses?
