I do really like the idea of having Gotham in the title, sorry for stealing name but Gotham's Knight is pretty good too!

For some reason I find having "Gotham" to not be descriptive enough. It's just the name of a city.
Batman, on the other hand, is the name of an extraordinary phenomenon, a created persona. Gotham is just the name of a setting. It doesn't hold enough weight to me. |

True, but as has been referenced over the years in stories, Gotham can be viewed as it's own character.
And I would like to see more of the Gotham world explored in a new Batman film. Last edited by uniqueweasel; 03-15-2013 at 01:51 PM. |

Gotham in the title is more for a TV show.

I dont see the problem in using "batman" again. All remakes use the same name and im pretty sure people will know the difference between the 1989 version to the new one.

But its often how he is still referred in the comics.
THE, in the front, has this dramatic and impersonal feel to it. I think it would have worked so much better with B89 though. When the whole world was being introduced to a never before seen on film, darker, more mysterious take.
