Why hasn't Bond been to Rome in ANY of the films?
Very, very strange. Venice has appeared in three of them, and he's also been to other parts of Italy. But not Rome.

London, Berlin, Moscow, Paris, Amsterdam, Vienna etc, but not the capital of Italy. I just wonder WHY.

Hooper? We'll go from the most cinematic Bond film to the least cinematic Bond film in one go.

Hanna was good but my main problem with it was the fight between Bana and those agents in the underpass looked really weak. You could tell there was no contact being made.

Hmm, I don't know why. It would be pretty cool. I suppose there's always going to be places Bond hasn't gone yet.

Bond in Chicago. His most dangerous assignment yet. Get on it.

Yeah, once in obscure Latin translates as multiple times.

I'd still like to see Bond go back to New York, it's been 40 years.

I also hope for a finale with the grand scale of OHMSS or Thunderball. where Bond leads a group of agents or SAS/Seals into a big action situation.

Bond hasn't been back in NY in forty years because most Hollywood films have been in NY in forty years.

I wanna see Bond in the deep south.

So true.

Like I said, keep Hooper as far the hell away from Bond as possible.

Really? I thought that scene was great and well shot. I really hope Wright goes back to directing action movies instead of period pieces. Anna Karena felt like a step back.

Anytime I think of Bond in NY I think of Raymond Benson's Bond In NY story (now collected in his 2 volume Bond novels collection) where Bond goes to visit his son James Suzuki and finds him dead in a plot by Rosa Kleb. Benson used an old building my bud Richard lived in for like a year for the setting of James's apartment so the discriptions of the city and the building always take me back.

Not a story DC's Bond could do though having not met Kissy (YOLT), not had a son, and that son didnt grow up to be a banker.

I had that idea ages ago, where Bond joins up with the SAS or SBS and raids a terrorist training camp like OHMSS or TLD. Not the Navy Seals though, rather see him with British Special Forces. I'd also like to see him team up with another 00.

If Bond had to be in the US, I'd actually like to see him in the DC area. Y'know, roll up a few miles away to Langley to meet up with Leiter. I'd like to see Leiter again in the next sequel as forgiveness to his role getting significantly reduced in Quantum of Solace.

Forgiveness for getting his role reduced? Leiter was never a Bond regular. Jeffrey Wright in fact was the first actor to play him in two consecutive Bond movie appearances (and the 2nd one to play him twice).

That's not what the article states. MGM said within 3 years and that's pr talk for, "you're not going to wait as long as 4 years but we hope to get the film out for 2014 but if EoN need more time, we should get it by 2015 latests".
