A couple of spoilers here in another Feige interview.

I appreciate you’re having a positive role model, as far as modeling relationships. Is that something you intended from the beginning?

Well, you know, Tony, Pepper, was always the most important relationship to Tony Stark in the comics. That’s not always true with, Clark Kent has Lois Lane, right. That said, a lot of the other characters don’t have that. The Marvel characters sort of do. We do pull it all from the comics and that is what it was. It really was fun to us in the beginning of Iron Man 1. He goes to Vegas, he sleeps with a reporter, to sort of set up that, so that the relationship with Pepper, there’s a flashback at the beginning of [Iron Man 3] with the Rebecca Hall character that shows what Tony was like many years ago, before he became Iron Man. You see a little bit of that playboy. But, the fact is, you always want to remind audiences of that side of him, so you can appreciate how, sort of mature he’s getting. That he’s putting all that aside to be with her. The other thing is, the chemistry between Robert and Gwyneth is spectacular.

On the final battle

There are a lot of suits in this movie. While it is both a movie in which he spends quite a bit of time outside of the suit, as you see it’s not working and he’s- and he’s with Ty in Tennessee, by the end of it we reveal that underneath the house, which is now covered with rubble, he’s got dozens and dozens of suits. And once, throughout the course of the movie, and all that rubble gets pulled aside by construction cranes, just when he needs him, he calls him to the rescue and we have what I think is the biggest most action packed finale we’ve had. I showed the film to Joss Whedon, who is our writer-director of Avengers and who is currently working on Avengers 2, and he saw the finale of this and he goes, now what am I supposed to do now? What am I going to do in Avengers 2?

So Feige said that Iron Man 3 has the most action packed finale of any of the marvel films. I can't imagine it'd be bigger than Avengers, but here's hoping. The fact that Whedon saw it and said "now what am I supposed to do with Avengers 2?" is encouraging.

She's definitely in league with AIM, but Killian is still the big boss. He's probably AIM's "Scientist Supreme."

There's a screenshot from awhile back of Hansen at the docks where Killian is, where the final battle takes place, that shows her looking smug and more than a little sinister. So yeah, odds are she betrays Tony, and he doesn't find out she's in league with Killian until the end.

With Feige confirming there being a flashback sequence, I do think there was a shot from it in the trailer. Even though Kevin says Tony and Maya will feature in the flashback, I think this is a young Killian.

maybe killian is in parallel with stark..like how both men need extremis due to their "weakness" complex.

i just hope these flashback don't focus too much on making killian the main villain. Mandarin needs his screentime and action

RDJ looks younger now than he did in The Avengers. The man must have an aging portrait locked in his attic.

This is what I got from Chewy, who I think got it from the boxoffice.com site: For a while now we've known that Mandarin's rings aren't alien, and don't have any powers. Black and Feige and co have described him as this ex-military guy who went a nuts along the way, is obsessed with Sun Tzu, and crafted the Mandarin persona. So the question we've all been asking is: If Ben Kingsley's Mandarin is the villain of the movie, and he doesn't have any powers, how do you stage a big third act with a bunch of suits of armor around that?

And the answer is apparent that he isn't, and you don't. Guy Pearce's Aldrich Killian is the villain, was from the beginning. He uses the Mandarin as his mouthpiece/symbol/distraction, and Mandarin dies during the movie.

So that's the spoiler, and it makes sense with what we know - Killian funnels out the Extremis soldiers, and the third act will presumably be Tony and Rhodey and all those suits versus Killian and his soldiers in that warehouse. And you can have a third act that involves the big villain in the big fight, as Killian will presumably inject himself with it too.

I would not trust that user. He is a bad one. I am pretty sure he is lying that box office.com site is full of BOM trolls. Do not trust anybody from that site.

i do agree that is a younger looking in IM3 than Avengers, but i am not too fond of his haircut. my favorite was IM1 hairstyle.

I feel like every movie is gunna be better. This is gunna be better than avengers it almost seems like. Thor 2 I think is gunna be the best movie of phase 2 excluding avengers. It seems like that each phase is actually getting better in EVERY aspect

If Maya is indeed in cahoots with Killian, I'd say the Manderin isn't just his lackey. Killian probably doesn't want his lackeys blowing each other up
