How dare you criticize Google's pride and joy, next you'll tell me that the Stock Android Browser was better.

Hmm, well I really love Chrome on my PC and that's why I was interested in the smartphone version to connect my Google account to my phone. I ended up downloading a Chrome to Phone app (which I have yet to try) instead since I couldn't get the Chrome app, maybe it'll be just as good.

I'll check out Dolphin though, thanks for the recommendation.

I've actually adopted Opera as my secondary browser on my desktop and laptops since Chrome has become far too bloated. I never liked Chrome to begin with, it was too minimalist for me and it kind of goes against the Android philosophy since it's not very customizable. I like it but I hope LastPass and XMarks have better integration with it in the future. I prefer Dolphin on my phone since it's a mobile-exclusive browser. I'd rather have an experience designed purely for that function than something that tries to mimic what's on a PC.

If I had a tablet, I would definitely use Opera or Firefox on that since they probably offer more features and I wouldn't be concerned with having a very minimal browser.

What I like about Opera on my phone the most is how reliable switching between tabs is. I find on Dolphin, often times when I go to close a tab, it just switches tabs instead of closing the one. That and I love the Opera home tiles.

Dolphin Browser HD is the way to go, although there's nothing wrong with Opera.

Skyfire used to be so awesome. I was using it exclusively when I had my Omnia (WM 6/6.5), but I don't know what the hell happened.

Open multiple tabs then, try to close one. That's my biggest problem with Dolphin. That and, no auto-scroll like Opera.

I'm getting sick of the add on and bookmark menus coming on when I slide my finger

Ouch, but it is being offered by just one carrier.

Jony Ive Pushing for a 'Flatter, Simpler' Apple iOS

How much more simpler can it get? Something tells me it will be a crazed hybrid of Android and WP.

They can be disabled, but you're finger is probably too close to the edge of the screen.

Yeah. I have to keep it in the center. I'm getting to it now though.

I don't even use the bookmark tab because I have my quick links set up whenever I open up a new tab, so there's no need.

Go to settings and scroll to the bottom. Click on the "Lab" button and you can disable it from there.

After using Chrome, Opera and Dolphin on my 3GS... I'm just going to stick with Dolphin. Everything else just seems so extremely.... Blah.

Not very slow as I made out.

But it was a tad slow for me compared to Dolphin or whatever.

Also...Not to sound like a total putz but... I seem to be utterly useless when it comes to creating my own user interface that looks completely original from everything else. I looked a few pages back to see what the best widgets and whatnot to use...Can't find them.

I enjoy the heck out of this phone but I think my lack of creativity keeps it looking plain. Haha.

are you using a launcher?

also, the s4 is only a few weeks away! excited for a new phone; still deciding between black and white.
