At least there isn't an alien underneath that skin.

That skin peeling is pretty creepy. I didn't notice until the screenshot that her 'old skin' looks lifeless unlike the 'new skin' underneath.

I wonder if she's going to be a mutant or something else in the film? We've yet to see anyone with any special abilities outside of mutants in the x-men movies, so I'd be surprised if she wasn't one.

Not sure if she's mutant but James Mangold confirmed she's immune to toxins .. don't know if it's natural immunity or artificial ..

I can't express how much I love Viper shedding her dead skin like a snake.

I guess we could always go back to leather suits in our superhero films since the source material apparently doesn't work.

But way to blow things out of proportion and try to paint me as some unappeasable crazy. I've already said multiple times that it isn't that big a deal. If people could leave it at that instead of continuously telling me how wrong I am and what a bad person I am for daring to criticize we wouldn't still be discussing it.

Also snake skin, blegh

I can see why, from the photoshop on the previous page, they changed the green hair. Green outfit + Green lipstick + Green hair would just be too much and green is my favorite color. haha

It's not such a polar opposite dilemma as 'leather suit or comic book costume'. There is a middle ground, where a character can be both recognizable and believable. I think they've found this middle ground with Viper.

I didn't say you were crazy or a bad person... I simply criticized your approach to translating comic book outfits onto the big screen.

A teensy bit sad she doesn't have the green hair, but honestly, she looks great. I'm not familiar with the actress, is she good?

Hmm, why am I reminded of that scene in BTTF2 where Doc says he didn't want to alarm Marty but he might not have recognized him?

Yeah, I noticed that with the first pic in the thread. There's also a bit of stretching of her new skin as she peels off the old (which does look to be clearly cgi).

I doubt it. She is called Viper and Mangold said she was snakelike.

I'm obsessed with Viper. From the pics, to the trailers. I'm probably seeing this film just for her.

For me, she has to be a mutant just because this movie is still set around the X-Men universe. So they are either a mutant or a human. Plus it makes things less complicated and easier to understand. Though I don't think she was a mutant in the comics.

She wasn't. She doesn't even have powers in the comics.
