The star wars prequels. Love them. Jake/anikin come on people he is a CHILD and people rip on him about his acting, so unfair. Great lightsaber battles. Sweet as. They are judged way too harshly. Oh And how can you hate George Lucas.

How can you hate George Lucas? How can you hate Joel Schumacher? They both f***ed up a franchise so it's very easy.

That's not a good enough reason to hate someone. It's very petty. See to fans your only as good as your last film(s). Just because shumachers last batfilm people hated doesn't give them the right to wish him or george lucas is hated. So fans might like 4 or 5 of the 6 star wars films makes fans hate him. Thats not right.

Second, it's not the last film as much as it is f***ing over a franchise with absolutely awful movies. It's not if it's their last movie, the placement does not matter, it's how awful and what the significance is. If the Prequel Trilogy wasn't connected to Star Wars, I wouldn't care. They'd be awful but I wouldn't need to remember them. But they're connected to Star Wars and has f***ed up the franchise's image for a while. I love Lucas pre-Phantom Menace but it seems like he was replaced with a completely new director who shoots in sterile environments, doesn't work well with actors and tinkers with films better off without the edits. I like some of Schumacher's movies too. They're not great but not bad. I hate him professionally for f***ing up a character I love and ruining the character's image for years. That said, it's a great comedy. Third, what are you talking about in your second half? Wish them what? Wish him or Lucas hatred? You can't really wish for hatred any more than you can wish you loved someone. It's an emotional response that is, in this case, generated by the way they present themselves and the work they put out. |

Who's wishing for them to be dead here? And, if anyone does, that is taking it way too far. Hating someone professionally, sure. Wishing death to anyone for these reasons? No.

Skyfall is meh. Dull characters with forced arcs. The skyfall sequence feels contrived because they failed in giving Bond a proper arc. For a film advertised as "testing Bond's loyalty", I never felt that at all. It would have been much better if the main focus was Bond not M. Silva came in too late for a meaningful conflict at the end. His plan is also dumb.

1)Loki is a horrible villain and it made Avengers a joke. The fact that a bunch of superheroes have to get together (when they don't want to) in order to protect the planet from a weak mother****er like Loki, always makes me laugh.
2)I don't like Guillermo Del Toro's movies. 3)Batman Forever is a more entertaining and more "batman-y" movie than Batman Returns. Even if it's lighter in comparison. 4)I thought Timothy Daulton was a better Bond than Roger Moore, George Lazenby and sometimes Pierce Brosnan. 5)Avatar is crap. 6)Fight Club is overrated. Not saying I didn't like it, but it's goddamn overrated. 7)No Country For Old Men is overrated, so is Argo. I liked Argo but it didn't deserve the Oscar. It won because of its political nature. No Country had good cinematography and a great role for Bardem, but didn't think it was anything special. 8)Spider-Man 3 is an entertaining movie even though it sucks as a Peter Parker/Spider-Man story and the villains are horrible. I still find the emo stuff funny as hell. 9)All Pirates of the Caribbean movies bore me to tears, including the first. 10)Quantum of Solace is only a major disappointment when comparing it to its predecessor and successor. I still think it's a solid movie and it beats almost every Bond movie before Casino Royale. 11)I liked the Amityville Horror remake with Ryan Reynolds more than the original (even though parts of the original and its myth scared the crap outta me as a kid). 12)Jackie Brown is sometimes my favorite Tarantino film of all time. Most of the time it goes to Pulp Fiction but at times JB wins it. Everyone overlooks the hell out of that movie. Calls it disappointing compared to what came before it and after it in QT's filmography. I also love Death Proof even though fans and Quentin himself say that it's his worst movie. 13)I find Coen Brothers to be super boring filmmakers 90 percent of the time. Big Lebowski is awesome but I can never get into the rest.

I loved The Departed when I first saw it, and I still like it now...but I watched it recently and honestly can't figure out how the hell Costello and his people didn't know who the rat was. It should have been blindingly obvious.

Coen Brothers: Big Lebowski was pointless and No Country for Old Men was far too long.
Argo is overrated. James Cameron is a d*ck and all his films are awful and overrated. Katheryn Bigelow deserved an oscar win for ZDT (direction was the best thing about that movie). Jennifer Lawrence is so annoying

I agree with this. I think Nicholson and Dicaprio really sell it well though, so I cant complain.

I'm on a roll here
![]() Alien III > Aliens Clint Eastwood is a giant idiot and everything he directs turns out to be boring gloopy stuff. He hasn't done anything good since Dirty Harry. Everyone in the X-Men film trilogy + 1st Class was horribly mis-cast par magneto and charles. Same goes for the Nolanverse trilogy par lucius and alfred

Bale's casting lit the Internet on fire. He was the guy 99% of us (including me) wanted. I can see why some people didn't like his Batman, but at the time, his casting was a fanboy's dream come true. However, Halle Berry as Storm, both Rachel Dawes, and a whole hell of a lot of other X-characters were really not good choices at all.

It's weird, I feel like Anna Paquin now could play a much better Rogue than she did then, especially if she was allowed to keep more of the personality/attitude of Rogue from the comics.

Though Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest gets a bad rap by a lot of people, it's still got one of the best surprise endings ever.
