I'm not sure when Tony found out... it may be the Age of Ultron maxi-series for all I know...

See, I thought Tony was included when Pete revealed himself, thus restoring his memory. I guess you're right. If so, the way 6AU preview is written Tony is finding out now, being filled in by Sue Storm. But, Tony seeing Pete unmasked, shouldn't all those memories be restored?

And believe me, I'm NOT defending the mindwipe and how it works.

The mindwipe spell is no longer, so maybe when people find out... they just find out his identity...

I like that these incidents cause him to have flashbacks and flashbacks sweep up Pete. As a result, Pete was enable to reign Ock in.
Seconded.

I loved issue 6. This is the most I've enjoyed Spidey in years.

Me too. I mean Screwball said something in the last panel.

This is where I don't understand people's complaints with Ramos' artwork. These pages are extraordinary. I've really come to love his work. His early 2000s, Peter Parker--Spider-Man run was...less than stellar, but he's come a LONG way since then and as easily become one of my favorite regulars on Spider-Man. Plus, Delgado knows how to ink and color his stuff expertly.

Anatomy issues in that last panel and the use of the left hand when the script says the right...Ramos may be better but his still has some issues.

Aloha,
I will be the first to admit that I hated Ramos on Spectacular Spider-Man. I will also admit that his work has improved by leaps and bounds since then for me.He's not one of my favorites but when I think that there are issues of Spectacular Spider-Man that I have not read because of his art work-He's come a long way.

Hes my favorite Spidey artist, I love how different yet detailed his work is. I liked him since he first started drawing spidey. I also love Rivera, Caselli, and I think Camuncolli has gotten WAY better since ASM, Stegman is decent, but sloppy at times. Delgado is the best colorist.

He did improve, but I still think those pages are ugly. that's just my opinion of course. but his art distracts me too much.

I STILL say that after seeing Dexter Soy's work of those preview pages for the Superior SpOck Age of Ultron tie-in, THAT'S the artist who should be placed on permanent duty for the book...

his work is just so clean and fluid and done so well and when it comes right down to it, very appealing and easy on the eyes...

I'll take Soy's art over all of the above named artists...

but that's ME...

The problem I have with Ramos is that when he does action scenes, it completely throws his pencils into utter chaos. The scenes from the preview look good because their not action heavy. When he draws folks standing or sitting around and talking it looks better than when they are moving.

His other problem is that he can't handle a larger than average page count. Towards the end the quality takes a massive nosedive. ASM 700 is a perfect/recent example. Some of the panels towards the end of the book looked really awful.

It looks a little bit like Alex Ross's movie costume design. I like it, too. I wish they'd use that for the Superior costume.

That's just the tribute cover. In the previews for the next issue when he's fighting the hunchbacked cyborg guy, he looks like this:

Man my Ramos fanboy biased aside, that costume is a beaut. Wonder what the story is behind it. Cause I think its badass looking. I can understand why some do not like Ramos work, I generally just find it much more interesting to look at. There is alot of generic and boring art out there, that makes me feel not excited to read a book. I was never a bagley fan for starters. But one thing Ramos is great at is design. All the new looks he has designed for anyone I think have all be really well done, whether its the big time costume, Green Goblins look, or new Hobgoblin and now I am assuming this one.
