But seriously, Ron pearlman ftw. Tough mark pellegrino would be inspired. And I stiller early like Norman reedus for Constantine, or well as James marsters, the guy look great for his age last time checked.

James Marsters looks damn good for his age though

Constantine and Spike are very similar though. It would work if you didn't want a sequel.

I love you. This is such a good idea. Cliched but Tim Burton would do a kickass job on Sandman. He'd have a chance to redeem himself with that.

WB's priorities should be Heaven Sent, Sandman, and World's Finest over the next 5 years, that would set them apart from Marvel but establish them as a badass company, they always did well with dark characters

A Batman/Superman movie would make so much more sense than anything I'm sure Warner Bros. has planned.

Think about Edward Scissorhands and Beetlejuice era Tim Burton directing Sandman. It's too perfect, hes due for redemption too.

Cuaron would be okay, I want to see him on Justice League or Batman though, that'd be much more up his alley.

Even in the 80s and 90s I wouldn't want burton, just because he uses desaturated filters and dark colors doesn't make him right for this character, he sucks at telling a story, he's purely a visual director. I don't think he has it in him to adapt Neil gaimans work.

That's dependent on how good the screenplay is dude. He's most definitely capable of telling a good story, Ed Wood, Edward Scissorhands and Beetlejuice prove that. His visual tone works perfectly with the books. And this movie needs a visual director, Alfonso Cuaron hasn't really shown a knack for a visual style like Sandman's. I've seen all his movies.

hmmm.... this kinda ruins the idea of casting McGregor. the ironic part though is that hair is perfect for Constantine. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ofqTPFQM2y4

Also, the rumored director for JL is Snyder, who seemingly doesn't have any movies planned for the next three years and just got done directing MoS. If MoS is a huge hit, which I think it will be, then Snyder will be the most probable choice when WB finally announces the director for JL.

Meanwhile, Heaven Sent is another one of the many projects that Del Toro is working on. He's not even sure if he'll direct or just produce this movie yet, and he just has a writer in mind who is "thinking about it" and is currently supposedly busy writing for another movie at the moment. WB has never expressed interest in wanting to do a Heaven Sent movie, and Del Toro is really the only one proposing it to the studio. Not only that, but again as I mentioned, HS is not a high priority for WB from a business standpoint like JL is being made out to be. Now Pacific Rim has a good chance of doing well, so Del Toro's movie proposals will probably start having more pull, but I think he'll move onto something else before getting Heaven Sent off of the ground.

Nothing official still.

JL forums should be moved to this section actually.

Isn't this Del Toro's next project after Crimson Peak?
