I've always thought Zachary Quinto or Dwayne Johnson would make a great Namor, but I was thinking maybe newcomer Jon Lee Brody could fit the bill. Standing at 6'2, muscular built, and going to be featured in the upcoming Star Trek movie.

Yeah Hugo Weaving and Zachary Quinto were the first ones that came to mind. Obviously the first is impossible. But Quinto? Let's make this happen people!

i know this is a very generic choice but I can see potential in Joseph Gordon-Levitt, he certainly has that kind of exotic look that Namor needs.

He does? When I think of JGL "exotic" is definitely not the first thing that comes to mind.
John Rhys Myers, Ian Somerhalder, Daniel Dae Kim, and Joaquin Phoenix would be my choices.

Always thought James Purefoy from The Following would make a great Namor. His portrayal of Mark Anthony in HBO's Rome showed the right amount of regalness & cocky attitude that Namor is famous for.

Jason Momoa definitely... You know when you watch Warrior Frank Grillo has similar V shaped eyebrows. Not obvious on pictures but he would have been great. Manu Bennett my second choice though he would be a great Wolverine recast.

Lets agree to disagree.
I like Momoa, don't get me wrong, but I don't see him as Namor.

I've always thought that Jude Law would be an ideal choice for Namor.

After Momoa publicly left negotiations for the Drax role, would he still be interested in a Marvel project?
