Just that scene alone that you described transcends most anything we've seen in this Trilogy.
Thanks Marv. You cheered me up a bit.

no problem.

Nolan and Bale returning for JLA is pretty interesting. On one note, they will bring the audience of (devoted followers) people that think they're the definitive duo and that will make it the film to watch in 2015 in spite of the ridiculous competition that year.

On the other end it pretty much means more of the same, on paper anyways and batman needs to be uber when it comes to league business anyways.

The wild card here is the Director. If Snyder get's his hands on batman all bets are off.

Even while Campbell did that, Lucas was inspired by Campbell so it was more or less like Campbell did the labor and Lucas just read up on Campbell's books and notes and then worked on Star Wars. Kinda bogus to say Lucas was inspired by past mythologies when he just got inspired by one man who was the actual one that was inspired by past mythologies, lol.

It was a toss up on three of the picks. I choose to go with Let's bring in the Sidekicks. I feel as though its time, Batman's story has been told again and again, lets keep Batman fresh and bring in Dick Grayson, and tell the story of Dick Grayson/Robin/Nightwing.

My other choices would be, better fight scenes. Let Batman loose, I wanna be able to see Batman kicking ass. Nolan's Batman kicked butt, but most of the fights were too quick, blurry and up close. I want to see a cross between how Bat's fought in Batman Forver & Batman Dead End. Action packed and able to see what the heck is going on.

And please no growling Bale/Batman voice.

I agree with all these - except rather than training flashbacks I would rather we just see the result of his decade of training shown through his actions. Though aslong as the flashbacks have some relation to story then no harm.

My number 1 thing I want fixed is an even more extreme Batman - Nolan's one had his moment - Flass and Maroni scenes in particular - but basically someone who goes over the top more often. But I'm sure this will be family friendly Batman

''fixed'' is the wrong word to use because that suggests that Nolan effed-up. No you need to say what 5 things could be done differently.

Baterangs. Grappling hook usage.

After Begins he barely used them. If at all.

I like my Batsy to be using his tech, even if he's using the same old device in creatively different ways.

I'm not sure where that monicker comes from. He isn't even supposed to be the best in the DCU, unless Ralph Dibny is still dead?

Unless you are suggesting Nolan's interpretation was perfect and final there's room for improvement.

Ralph Dibny was hyped as the greatest detective, rather inexplicably and after decades of Batman being referred to as the World's Greatest Detective. Some writer tried to pump Ralph, but honestly, it never came through.

It was established in the 80s, long before Identity Crisis, so it wasn't just a flight of fancy from one writer. Grant Morrison developed it effectively during 52, too.

I want the next round of Bat-films to be as far from the nolan ones as possible. I want more sidekicks and less lazy storytelling. And Clayface... we need Clayface.

I would love to see elements of Arkham Asylum and Arkham City in a new film.

Little things like that are why Batman is simply the best comicbook vigilante by far.
I love Bats, but no. Daredevil reigns supreme for me.

Also, I just watch the Arkham Origins trailer and .....the suit is eye gougingly ugly.

The voice should be the first thing addressed. I don't know why the kept letting Bale do the voice like that. Also it would be nice to see some villains we haven't seen yet on the big screen.

1.Deathstroke
2.Clayface
3.Hush
4.Hugo Strange

-Batman's mask, costume, voice, and intelligence
-Tone
-Batman has to be a dark character (internally) and needs to be more independent

I prefer a Batman who makes a lot of things for himself.

Arkham Origins is what the movie should feel like, if people will believe Snake Eyes, they'll believe Batman can move like that.

on the voice, i've said time and time again:
Batman is the person and Wayne is the mask so, Natural deep voice with Batman and up a couple pitches for Bruce, make him seem younger more immature

The next movies should take cues from the Arkham games, as they have a great gritty tone that is some what realistic even with the fantastical villains like Ivy, Mr. Freeze, ClayFace etc. Also Batman should have detective skills and use more gadgets in the next movies. ALSO, Robin or Nightwing or even Batgirl should make a cameo or have small minor roles.

1. Characterization of Batman/Bruce Wayne. Bale's interpretation of the character was terrible. Not even a character I remotely liked, let alone my favorite superhero ever.

2. Art design. As good as the cinematography became in Nolan's films, the art direction was just plain lazy. From the poor juxtaposition of Chicago and soundstage set in Batman Begins, to New York landmarks showing up in TDKR, there was rarely a moment in the film where Gotham actually felt like Gotham, which should be considered a pretty tremendous failure.

3). Lack of fantasy. I think Nolan very much confused fantasy and the fantastic with camp and childishness. And that is simply not true. Other movies like Iron Man and Mission Impossible and other such highly stylized action movies have proved this time and time again You. can have Batman have futuristic tech, and perform out of this word actions and, yes, even have a bunch of merchandising friendly gadgets and vehicles and still have a very good movie.

4). More faithful villains. As good as Joker and Bane were, all of Nolan's villains lacked a pretty tremendously large portion of their characterization or essence purely in the name of realism. Which isn't really all that necessary or needed. Especially in today's world of Avengers and Star Trek movies.

5). Sidekicks. I'm tired of Robin and Batgirl being thought of as childish and unnecessary sideshows to Batman's unparalleled maturity and perfection. It's not at all true in any way, shape or format and so far we've missed out on some really amazing characters, storyline, and character progression for Batman by excluding them from the films.

Despite all the 1000s of calls for it, I don't want the next movie to have anything to do with a computer game.

I want the next Batman to be sharp and resourceful. He should be at least as smart as Tony Stark was in the middle portion of iron man 3. But ideally he should be as aware as Bourne in the Bourne Identity.
