I've read two interesting historical fantasy novels regarding the Thirty Years' War in Europe and the French Revolution:

The Warhound and the World's Pain and The City in the Autumn Stars. Thought you chaps might be interested in them.

I know the hills well, and could conceivably survive the length of an invasion if need be. Many in this part of the country can make the same claim. Some have some crazy weapon stashes and the know how to construct formidable means of defense and offense. Then you have the miltary bases and large military personel, and when you factor in the sheer size of the country I don't see a ground invasion being practical. Nuclear weapons and bombs would be the only way, but for that we have our missle defense shields which would need to be taken offline.
True that. I know, I grew up in such a family, I am from the South (ironically though, my family are the product of German, Italian and Irish immigrants) and well, we know how to hunt, turn anything into a weapon, and to live off the land, this country gal was born to survive!

They must look to their true champion, FPSRussia.
Well, if it makes you feel happier, all the kids that I know who black ops are also avid paintball game players, so they are learning to use their tactics in a real life setting.
